Race 1

HOTLY PURSUED (9) continued his consistent form with a comfortable all-the-way win at his last start. He is drawn poorly here but is versatile and should give a great sight. HOLY HECKA (10) is an interesting runner who showed ability in his four-start NZ career and has trialled nicely at Wanneroo. ROCKET CITY (11) goes up in class on his last start win but will be charging home. STAR LAVRA (8) was beaten as a short-priced favourite at his last start but is capable of overcoming his wide draw.

Tips: 9 10 11 8

Suggested Bet: HOTLY PURSUED (9) each way.

Race 2

ME FLASH (1) has been unplaced in his past eight starts but his effort here last week was full of merit and he can give some cheek from the pole. MR CHIP (5) drops significantly in class on his 7th to Rockmyster last week and he will be hard to hold out with the right run. OCTOBER REIGN (10) is racing well and should be in the finish if he sees daylight from this draw. MISTER MONTBLANC (3) wasn’t far away in the Rockmyster race and can play a part.

Race 3

MR FANTASTIC (1) has ran nice placings at his last two starts and should lead and prove hard to catch tonight. MACHS BETTOR (5) ran a nice 3rd from the breeze here last week and is drawn to be prominent throughout. LUCCA (7) had no luck as favourite in the 4YO Championship when he was crossed at the start and blocked for a run but will make his own luck tonight. LOUCID DREAMS (4) was a close 2nd to Master Publisher here last week and should be thereabouts again.

Tips: 1 5 7 4

Suggested Bet: MR FANTASTIC (1) to win.

Race 4

JETT STAR (2) ran a solid 4th to Galactic Star after facing the breeze here last week and looks the one to beat tonight after drawing inside his main rivals. ARMA EINSTEIN (5) has been placed in his last three starts in this class and should be charging home again. WILDWEST (3) has finished towards the rear at his last four starts but drops in class tonight and gets his chance. GALACTIC STAR (8) was a solid winner against a similar line-up at his last start but isn’t as well drawn tonight.

Tips: 2 5 3 8

Suggested Bet: JETT STAR (2) to win.

Race 5

WONDERFUL TO FLY (2) led and was run down by BEYOND THE SEA (11) at her last start but looks the one to beat after the draw. BORN TO BOOGIE (10) will be three back on the pegs at best but looks the main danger if she can get out early enough. BEYOND THE SEA (11) defeated the favourite at her last start but won’t enjoy the perfect run she had on that occasion. SIMPLY SHAZ (1) has finished towards the rear at her last five starts but is drawn to be a place chance tonight.

Suggested Bet: WONDERFUL TO FLY (2) to win.

Race 6

TALKS UP A STORM (3) has led throughout to win two of his last three starts and will be hard to beat if he finds the front here without doing too much work. EL CHEMA (7) has resumed with two impressive victories and looks the obvious danger. MASTER PUBLISHER (4) broke through for a well-deserved win here last week but will find this harder. WHATABRO (2) now starts from the pole and looks a good place chance.

Tips: 3 7 4 2

Suggested Bet: TALKS UP A STORM (3) to win.

Race 7

OTIS (3) has been unplaced in his three starts back from a spell but his last start was full of merit and he should be prominent throughout tonight. SUGAR STREET (2) couldn’t get into the race here last week but looks a big improver from this draw. HILLVIEW BONDI (6) was a brilliant 1.55.2 winner here two starts back and will take some catching if he can bully his way to the front again. LUSAKA (8) defeated a weaker field to take his record to 11 wins from 17 starts but will find this a lot harder.

Tips: 3 2 6 8

Suggested Bet: OTIS (3) to win.

Race 8

MIGHTHAVTIME (5) has been placed in her last three starts and this looks an easier assignment for her. TIGER ROYAL (10) has caught the eye at his last two starts and he will be charging home if he sees daylight at the right time OUR SHELLEY BEACH (1) is first-up but trialled nicely for his return and has the speed to lead if desired. BEE JAYS BOY (11) has been placed in four of his last five starts and will be charging home again if there is a solid tempo.

Tips: 5 10 1 11

Suggested Bet: TIGER ROYAL (10) each way.

Race 9

PATCHED (6) showed a return to form when working to the front and defeating LUVAFLAIR (4) at his last start and looks the one to beat again. LUVAFLAIR (4) ran on well to finish 2nd to the favourite in that event and looks the main danger again. ELEGANT PEAK (1) was a good winner at big odds at his second start in the state and should be thereabouts from the pole. DARK SECRET (5) is a consistent trotter who was placed behind the favoured pair at his last start and will be running on again.

Tips: 6 4 1 5

Suggested Bet: PATCHED (6) to win.

Race 10

WATER LOU (4) won her first seven starts before disappointing in her last two efforts before being sent for a spell. She resumes here without a trial but has great gate speed and will be hard to catch if she crosses at the start. AMBITSIYA (3) was an impressive winner on debut after doing things wrong and looks to have plenty of ability.  EXEPTIONAL ARMA (5) is race fit and has won her last three starts and is the other winning chance. RELATIVELY ARMA (2) is a rung below the three fancies but has good gate speed.

Tips: 4 3 5 2

Suggested Bet: WATER LOU (4) to win.
