Harry Buchanan’s Thursday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on November 23, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 3 No. 7 Blast Of Irish and No. 5 Zen On The 7 was super last week and a repeat wins again. Boxed perfect and the one to beat. The 5 tried hard in the same race and will go well again. Box manners need to improve but going ok for this. Race 5 No. 8 Flying Goldwing Could quite get over last week and will again try and rush up and lead. That’s the key along with having a look at the track and she can go close here this time if she gets over. Race 7 No. 7 Simplicity and No. 8 Teflon Sunny The 7 will look for spear out here and crossing straight to the arm. Dropped a 17.01 here two back and that’s wins this. The 8 will sweep into it and charge home late here. Racing well and will hit the frame with a little early luck. Race 10 No. 1 Bazinga Boy and No. 7 Timmy Timebomb The 1 is the big smoky of the night. He could hold up here early and if he gets the arm to himself he will go all the way. No luck last week. Box key here. The 7 will come out humming and he is due to find the top. Has early burn and could swish over easily here. Won’t be caught if he leads either. Race 11 No. 4 Snoods Crumbs and No. 8 Pumping Gas The 4 is resuming but has ability and early pace. Will enjoy the back straight here and don’t be surprised if she goes fast to the lead. The 8 gets one more chance. Like the majority of the kennel, is already finding it hard against fast dogs who get room to work. One more chance in this company though as he can run into this. SANDOWN PARK Race 4 No. 5 Ethanol Volume Had a crack at the 600 last week but failed handle the corner start. The drop back to 500 is key and only has to be close to charge into this late. Has any amount of ability and goes close with any luck. Race 7 No. 1 Lakeview Nola and No. 7 Sally Intention The 1 is well boxed in this final, and will go close to either leading or settling right up on the pace. Came again in her heat and gets a much better draw this time. The 7 is a foolproof beginner who led most of the way in her heat before being headed, then coming again. Will swish over here and give a tremendous sight if she gets away. Hard to beat. Race 8 No. 2 Zinzan Chopper Will relish the step up to the middle trip where he excels. Well boxed down on the fence and while he can take a little while to get into his gear, once he does he has a big booming middle section and even stronger last section. Genuine top 2 chance in this race. Race 9 No. 6 Ethanol Water Another who struggled to handle the corner start over the longer trip last week. Steps back to the 500 and only needs to get half a look up the back to use that big run home. Another genuine place heavy shot in this affair. Race 11 No. 6 Scott Me Continues to find first turn trouble in much tougher races. This is the easiest he has faced in a while and will be probing for that run into the back where he can sustain a strong run home. Don’t ignore in this as he is going better than his form shows.
