WHOS THE DAD (12) has the best form in the race but can’t use his gate speed from this draw and the short distance is against him. SPECIAL LADY (10) is drawn to get a lovely run on the pegs and can be placed. CHEER THE MAJOR (5) was a game 2nd here in slick time last week and will be hard to catch if he can find the front. Tips: 1 12 10 5 Suggested Bet: MISS SERENADE (1) to win. Race 2 SWINGBAND (1) lost the race when he went back at the start but put up a massive performance to run 3rd to Prince Of Pleasure here last week but looks the leader and winner tonight if he holds up at the start. STAMFORD (10) has been unplaced at his past two starts but draws to get a nice run on the pegs and looks a good place chance. MACHNIFICENT (3) wasn’t suited when leading at his last start and has turn of foot to be in the finish. ONESMARTFELLA (11) is likely to be three back on the pegs and won’t be far away. Tips: 1 10 3 11 Suggested Bet: SWINGBAND (1) to win. Race 3 PRINCE OF PLEASURE (7) was well-driven but ultra-impressive in winning in 1.53.1 first-up. He is unlikely to get it as easy tonight but is clearly the one to beat. THE CODE BREAKER (2) was declared anon-runner here last week but was placed at his previous four starts and will give a great sight if he finds the front. MASTER PUBLISHER (1) is perfectly drawn first-up and can play a part. WATTS UP SUNSHINE (4) has been a beaten fancy at his last three starts but is capable with the right run in transit. Tips: 7 2 1 4 Suggested Bet: PRINCE OF PLEASURE (7) to win. Race 4 FINVARRA (6) resumed with a fast-finishing 2nd to JETT STAR (8) and will be suited by the likely solid tempo here. TALKS UP A STORM (2) sat off the speed to win in 1.54.4 here last start but is also a capable frontrunner and looks a major player from this draw. MOONLITE DRIVE (1) was an eye-catching first-up 3rd and can play a part from the pole. THE MUSTANG (5) is the fastest beginner in the field and he will give a great sight if he crosses at the start. Tips: 6 2 1 5 Suggested Bet: FINVARRA (6) to win. Race 5 NEVER ENDING (8) extended his unbeaten record to eight with a comfortable all-the-way win and is clearly the one to beat but won’t get it all his own way from this draw. SORRIDERE (6) looked back to his best with a narrow but impressive Bunbury win at his last start and is drawn inside his main rival. ROCKET CITY (9) hit the line nicely when 2nd to NEVER ENDING (8) at his last start and will be charging home if there is a solid tempo. HOTLY PURSUED (12) is normally thereabouts and can give a sight at big odds. Tips: 8 6 9 12 Suggested Bet: ROCKET CITY (9) each way. Race 6 SHOCKWAVE (7) was an impressive first-up winner against a similar field and will strip fitter tonight. HAMPTON BANNER (2) looks the early leader and it is hard to see him turning the tables on SHOCKWAVE (7) but he looks a good chance for the quinella position. ARMA EINSTEIN (5) was placed behind the favourite before running on well to defeat a weaker field here last week and will be charging home again. IMA FIVESTAR GENERAL (1) will settle just behind the speed and can be placed at odds. Tips: 7 2 5 1 Suggested Bet: SHOCKWAVE (7) to win. Race 7 LAMANDIER (5) is beginning poorly but racing well and can back up his Pinjarra victory earlier in the week with a safe getaway. DEEORSE (2) is normally a reliable beginner and he will give a great sight if he steps to the front tonight. MIDDLEPAGE (12) was a dominant winner against a similar field two starts back and is capable of overcoming his back mark. CLOUD NINE (9) endured a torrid run at his first start in WA but must be respected on his trial form. Tips: 5 2 12 9 Suggested Bet: DEEORSE (2) each way. Race 8 STENO (4) crosses the Nullabor with a very good record and will be hard to beat if she is anywhere near her top first-up. SOVRANA (3) was narrowly beaten at her last start and her gate speed ensures that she will have options in the early stages. IM THE MIGHTYLUCY (2) hit the line nicely last start and looks a good place from her draw. RUN FOR MERCY (7) drops considerably in class after finishing 2nd to Prince Of Pleasure here last week but isn’t as well drawn. Tips: 4 3 2 7 Suggested Bet: STENO (4) to win. Race 9 ILLAWONG MUSTANG (1) has a losing sequence of 32 but his recent efforts have been full of merit and he can give a great sight from the pole over the sprint trip. MIGHTHAVTIME (3) crossed the Tasman with good NZ before finishing a disappointing 3rd as a $1.50 favourite at his first start in the state but could improve sharply. HIGH PRICE (10) faced the breeze when a solid first-up 2nd here on Tuesday and looks the other winning chance. NAME IN LIGHTS (2) can be in the money if he enjoys a soft run behind the speed. Tips: 1 3 10 2 Suggested Bet: ILLAWONG MUSTANG (1) to win. Race 10 BAZAAR PACKAGE (2) started at $31 when an impressive all-the-way winner here at his last start and will be hard to beat if he reproduces that effort. MISS HEPBURN (10) was a good winner of a recent Bunbury trial in solid time and looks to have plenty of ability. LUNETTA (1) won a recent trial in moderate time and is drawn to get a nice run on the pegs. MANEA (6) ran on well to finish 3rd to BAZAAR PACKAGE (2) at his last start and can be in the money again. Tips: 2 10 1 6 Suggested Bet: BAZAAR PACKAGE (2) to win. Market Market
