CARABAO (2) has resumed in great form and is the obvious danger. GETN WIGGY WITHIT (3) is drawn to get a nice run behind the speed and looks a good place chance. WHOS THE DAD (7) has the ability to test the favoured runners but the draw is against him. Tips: 1 2 3 7 Suggested Bet: HILLVIEW BONDI (1) to win. Race 2 SISTA SAMMY (5) won her last three starts in NZ and has won both starts since crossing the Tasman. She has led throughout in those wins and may not get it all her own way tonight but still looks the one to beat. NULLABOR NAVAJO (11) hasn’t been winning but she has been racing in stronger company and should make her presence felt. MISS LAMARR (1) would be very hard to beat at her best but she hasn’t won for over a year and resumes without a trial. SOVRANA (10) is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and will be dangerous if she gets out. Tips: 5 11 1 10 Suggested Bet: NULLABOR NAVAJO (11) each way. Race 3 MEA CULPA (1) faced the breeze when a game 2nd to Ima Fivestar General here last week and can go one better from the pole tonight. THE CODE BREAKER (4) has been placed in nine of his past 12 starts and should be in the finish again. ELDAYTONA (7) didn’t have much luck in the 4&5YO Championship here last week and will appreciate the drop in class. MEDIEVAL MAN (10) is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and can be placed. Tips: 1 4 7 10 Suggested Bet: MEA CULPA (1) to win. Race 4 JAMES BUTT (1) was just plain when finishing 5th here last week but will strip fitter and looks suited by the sprint distance. TALKS UP A STORM (5) is a quick beginner who would be hard to beat if he could cross at the start. WATTS UP SUNSHINE (6) had his chance when 4th in the 4&5YO Championship here last week and is the class runner but is drawn awkwardly again. RASCAL (3) was a solid winner in easier company at his last start and can play a part from his nice draw. Tips: 1 5 6 3 Suggested Bet: JAMES BUTT (1) to win. Race 5 MACHNIFICENT (1) has been unplaced in his three starts back from a spell but should fight out the finish here. He is likely to sit on the favourite and will be hard to hold out if he sees daylight at the right time. THE MUSTANG (2) followed consecutive all-the-way victories with a strong 4th to Magnificent Storm. He is the likely leader here and will give a great sight. BEAT CITY (5) and GALACTIC STAR (6) are both capable of being in the money with the right run. Tips: 1 2 5 6 Suggested Bet: MACHNIFICENT (1) to win. Race 6 ALCOPONY (1) was an impressive 1.55.7 winner here last start and can shoot for an all-the-way victory from the pole tonight. WAIT FOR THE BELL (2) was a 1.55.0 winner here four starts back and will be right in the finish if he settles on the back of the leader. JETT STAR (7) wasn’t overly impressive in winning here at his last start but is the class runner of the field and must be respected. ROLL UP (3) has been unplaced at his last four starts but should enjoy a nice run close to the speed here. Tips: 1 2 7 3 Suggested Bet: ALCOPONY (1) to win. Race 7 WONDERFUL TO FLY (1) has battled bad draws of late but is still racing well and looks the one to beat over the sprint trip despite taking on the boys for the first time in a while. TRICKY MIKI (4) has been beaten in all three starts this time in races that haven’t been run to suit and that scenario looks likely again here. NOTED (3) did beat TRICKY MIKI (4) two starts back and is likely to trail the favourite. GOODFELLAZ (6) is racing extremely well but will need a strong tempo to cause an upset. Tips: 1 4 3 6 Suggested Bet: WONDERFUL TO FLY (1) to win. Race 8 SHOCKWAVE (5) won his last three starts in scintillating fashion back in 2021 before he was sidelined by injury. He will obviously not be at his best tonight but has trialled nicely for his return and his class will take him a long way. HAMPTON BANNER (1) looks likely to get his perfect scenario of leading with a slow lead time over the middle distance and he should give a great sight. SANGUE REALE (2) and ARMA EINSTEIN (3) are likely to settle on the pegs and won’t be far away. Tips: 5 1 2 3 Suggested Bet: SHOCKWAVE (5) to win. Race 9 ONESMARTFELLA (7) has been racing consistently with 2nds at his last two starts and has the turn of foot to overcome the wide draw. JILLIBY JAKE (1) doesn’t have the class of his main rivals but looks the leader and he will give them something to catch over the sprint trip. CHERISHTHEMEMORIES (4) has been a bit disappointing at her last two starts but will be right in the finish if she produces her best. NAME IN LIGHTS (2) is drawn to get a soft run behind the speed and can be placed. Tips: 7 1 4 2 Suggested Bet: ONESMARTFELLA (7) to win. Race 10 POSSEIDON (4), LINE THE STARZZZ (3), CHUMANI (1) and SKY EAGLE (2) filled the first four placings at Pinjarra at their last start. POSSEIDON (4) and LINE THE STARZZZ (3) finished 3rd and 4th in that event but they both start 10m closer to their front mark rivals tonight which could be crucial. Tips: 4 3 1 2 Suggested Bet: POSSEIDON (4) to win. Race 11 SEASIDE GEM (1) was a bit green on debut but ran a close-up 4th to AMARETTO ANGEL (6) at Narrogin and the pole draw makes her the one to beat. POWERFUL PEARL (2) didn’t have a lot of luck in the early stages but ran on well to finish 3rd in that event and looks a major player. PECUNIOUS (5) looks to have her fair share of ability and can make her presence felt on debut. AMARETTO ANGEL (6) led throughout to defeat a similar field at her last start but isn’t as well drawn here. Tips: 1 2 5 6 Suggested Bet: SEASIDE GEM (1) to win. Race 12 LUSAKA (1) has led throughout to win his last four starts and is ready for the rise in class. He is yet to run the times needed to win a race of this nature but looks capable of stepping up tonight. STAR LAVRA (4) has the best form in the race but will have to work in the run from this draw. FRANCO MECCA (2) has been a few lengths off the better ones this time in but he looked sharp in his last start win and won’t be far away. ALL IS WELL (5) will need a strong tempo to bring him into winning contention. Tips: 1 4 2 5 Suggested Bet: LUSAKA (1) to win. Market Market
