Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on May 19, 2022May 19, 2022 | Posted by Trent Cooper Race 1 SAVVY BROMAC (7) led throughout to defeat a similar field at her last start. She won’t find the top tonight but is versatile and will be hard to hold out. BORN TO BOOGIE (5) was a strong 3rd in that mares’ race and will make her presence felt tonight. ANGEL IN WHITE (2) was an impressive winner at her last start and is likely to enjoy a nice run just behind the speed tonight. VIVERE DAMORE (1) started at $51 and finished 8th in that event but is a different mare in front and will give a great sight from the pole. Tips: 7 5 2 1 Suggested Bet: ANGEL IN WHITE (2) each way. Race 2 ROBBIE ROCKET (1) led throughout in moderate time to beat a weaker field at his last start and the rise in class tonight is offset by his perfect barrier. PINNY TIGER (6) has won four of his last five starts and ran 2nd to Vultan Tin the Narrogin Cup in the other. He is drawn awkwardly but looks the obvious danger. THE CODE BREAKER (10) has drawn this barrier at his last two starts and been placed on both occasions and that scenario looks likely again. GREGARMY (11) has won three of his last four starts but goes up in class tonight. Tips: 1 6 10 11 Suggested Bet: ROBBIE ROCKET (1) to win. Race 3 WILL I ROCKNROLL (1) has finished just behind the placegetters at his last four starts but has been crying out for a barrier and gets his chance to press for an all-the-way win tonight. FANCI A DANCE (4) didn’t have any luck when a beaten favourite here last week but can bounce back with a better run in transit. EUPHORIA (11) was a solid 2nd here last week and will be hitting the line hard if there is any tempo in the race. MIDDLEPAGE (2) has been ultra-impressive in winning his last two starts and is ready for the rise in class. Tips: 1 4 11 2 Suggested Bet: WILL I ROCKNROLL (1) to win. Race 4 IDEAL AGENT (4) continued his outstanding form when bringing up his 9th win from his past 13 starts here last week after breezing. He will have to work hard in the run again but is still the one to beat. ELDAYTONA (1) has won six of his past seven starts and should lead here and give them something to catch. TYPHOON BANNER (2) was only beaten a neck by IDEAL AGENT (4) here last week and is capable of turning the tables with the right run. BEAT CITY (6) is racing extremely well but the draw makes it tough. Tips: 4 1 2 6 Suggested Bet: IDEAL AGENT (4) to win. Race 5 WONDERFUL TO FLY (10) has impressed in winning her last five on end and is clearly the one to beat but does have an awkward draw to overcome. SOVRANA (11) did upset the favourite earlier this year and appeals as the logical danger. CHAMPAGNE EVERYONE (1) has led throughout to win two of her last four starts in weaker company and can give some cheek tonight. DONTBESILLLYCHILLI (12) wasn’t suited in the breeze at her last start but can be thereabouts with the right cart into the race. Tips: 10 11 1 12 Suggested Bet: WONDERFUL TO FLY (10) to win. Race 6 JUMPINGJACKMAC (2) resumes tonight and has won 11 of his 19 career starts. He draws inside his main rival and appeals as the one to beat. TO FAST TO SERIOUS (5) has hit the line nicely to be placed at his past three starts and will be charging home again. TYLER BRETT (1) has the speed to lead but may elect to take the sit in this company over the longer journey. WHILE THEY PRAY (6) caused an upset win in this company last week and can be dangerous again if the race is run to suit. Tips: 2 5 1 6 Suggested Bet: JUMPINGJACKMAC (2) to win. Race 7 GLENLEDI CHIEF (9) recorded impressive victories in all three starts this time in and has the class to overcome his 30m handicap. GEE SMITH (1) has been placed in 13 of his past 15 starts and should lead here and be right in the finish again. TWOBOB CRACKER (2) is drawn to enjoy a nice run in transit and shouldn’t be far away. AMERICAN BULLITT (3) has ran on to finish 2nd at big odds at his last two starts and can run into the money again. Tips: 9 1 2 3 Suggested Bet: GLENLEDI CHIEF (9) to win. Race 8 IM SPIDERMAN (1) has been placed at his last two starts and gets his chance to lead here and should give a great sight. FASTER THAN DAD (9) is the class horse of the field and is capable of overcoming the wide draw. BELLEZZA NERA (10) is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and looks a good place chance. CAVEMAN (7) has finished out of the money at his last five starts but drops in class for this assignment and can improve sharply. Tips: 1 9 10 7 Suggested Bet: IM SPIDERMAN (1) to win. Race 9 FINVARRA (3) raced extremely well last time in and is clearly the one to beat from this draw. ARMA EINSTEIN (7) is drawn poorly but is in top form and will be hitting the line hard. SHADOW ROLL (6) is a consistent type who is first up from a break and should be thereabouts. BRACKEN SKY (2) is likely to enjoy a soft run on the pegs and can be placed at odds. Tips: 3 7 6 2 Suggested Bet: FINVARRA (3) to win. Race 10 LUCAPELO (2) had to work hard to hold the lead and was only nabbed on the line when 2nd to ALL IS WELL (5) at his last start. He is well drawn and will be hard to beat if he can find the top. ALL IS WELL (5) sizzled to the line when winning from a similar draw and must be considered again. JUGGERNAUT (4) did things wrong in the early stages of that event but his previous form was very solid. FESS UP (1) has trialled nicely for his debut and has the advantage of the pole draw. Tips: 2 5 4 1 Suggested Bet: LUCAPELO (2) to win. Market Market
