Race 1

MY CARBON COPY (11) won three on end in February and wasn’t disgraced when running on from the rear to finish 4th here last week. He has a nice trailing draw that suits his racing style and will be charging home. GRINNY VINNIE (6) is racing extremely consistently and can control this race from the breeze. DENNIS (1) was unlucky last week and is drawn to be prominent again tonight. BACK IN TWENTY (12) wasn’t suited in the breeze last week but will be running on tonight.

Suggested Bet: MY CARBON COPY (11) to win.

Race 2

THREE BEARS (4) was a strong 2nd at Pinjarra before being unable to get into the race here last week. He can be driven aggressively from this draw and should give a great sight. PICK MY POCKET (6) was beaten in a three-way photo finish last week against the mares and can take it up to the boys tonight. MISTER BUSHIDO (10) disappointed when leading last start but can be dangerous from this draw. NAVAL AVIATOR (11) didn’t have much luck last week and shouldn‘t be far away from his nice trailing draw.

Suggested Bet: THREE BEARS (4) to win.

Race 3

DREAMY NIGHTS (1) is now living up to his early promise and has been impressive in winning his last two starts. He looks the leader here and should prove very hard to catch. JACK WILLIAM (10) has been a strong winner at his past two starts and looks the obvious danger if he sees daylight early enough. ICEENOTHINK (7) is the class runner of the field but the tempo of the event is likely to be against him. MAD ROBBER (9) has defeated stronger fields than he meets tonight but is first-up from a horror draw.

Suggested Bet: DREAMY NIGHTS (1) to win.

Race 4

VULTAN TIN (1) has finished near the rear at his past five starts but looks a big improver tonight. He hit the line strongly in the Pinjarra Cup and won’t know himself from an inside draw. VAMPIRO (9) crossed from a wide draw and recorded a comfortable win in the Pinjarra Cup and will be hard to beat if he does find the front. IM FULL OF EXCUSES (3) ran 2nd in that race and should be thereabouts with the right trip in transit. EL JACKO (6) has finished just behind the placegetters at his last two starts and should be thereabouts again.

Suggested Bet: VULTAN TIN (1) to win.

Race 5

SHOCKWAVE (1) won the Golden Nugget before having no luck in the Fremantle and WA Pacing Cups. He looks the leader tonight and should be winning. OCEAN RIDGE (4) sprinted brilliantly to defeat Simba Bromac before hitting the line hard in the Pinjarra Cup and looks the main danger. BLETCHLEY PARK (10) impressed in defeating a weaker field on Tuesday and looks a great place chance from this draw. ROCK ME OVER (3) has been placed at three of his past four starts in strong company and should be thereabouts.

Suggested Bet: SHOCKWAVE (1) to win.

Race 6

ROSIES IDEAL (8) was ultra-impressive at her return when she faced the breeze and defeated Miss Sangrial in quick time. She looks set for a tough run in transit but is the one to beat on her last effort. AMERICAN DELIGHT (6) has been placed at her past 16 starts and will give a great sight as the likely frontrunner. MISS SANGRIAL (9) continues to race well in this company but has a tough draw to overcome. PARISIAN PARTYGIRL (7) wasn’t suited when leading last week but can be placed if she enjoys the right trip.

Tips: 8 6 9 7

Suggested Bet: ROSIES IDEAL (8) to win.

Race 7

JUSTASEC (9) has won six of his nine starts this time in and was brave when starting from this draw and facing the breeze for a solid 2nd here last week. This looks an easier assignment and he should prove hard to beat. SALEAHS COMMAND (1) was an all-the-way winner here three starts back and will lead and give them something to catch tonight. MIRACLE MOOSE (2) disappointed here last week but looks better suited by this draw and can bounce back. LORD ROSCO (10) goes up in class but is drawn to get a soft run and can figure.

Tips: 9 1 2 10

Suggested Bet: LORD ROSCO (10) each way.

Race 8

ALWAYS AN HONOUR (8) missed away last start when a solid 5th in a slightly stronger field and can make amends with a smooth getaway tonight. WHERE YA BIN (5) was caught in the breeze when 7th in the same event and should be a big improver with a better trip in transit. ATTACK ON COMMAND (11) is racing extremely consistently and will be finishing hard again. OVER LOADED (2) is a reliable beginner from the tapes and will give them something to catch if he finds the top.

Suggested Bet: ALWAYS AN HONOUR (8) to win.

Race 9

SIR GALAHAD (5) has won four of his last five starts including a comfortable all-the way victory here last week. He may not be able to find the top tonight but is the class runner and one to beat. DOMINATE THE DOJO (1) led when 3rd here last week and should be close to his top at his third run back from a spell. SERGEANT OATS (2) is drawn to settle close to the speed and looks the only other winning chance. JILLIBY JAKE (3) can be in the placings from his nice barrier.

Tips: 5 1 2 3

Suggested Bet: SIR GALAHAD (5) to win.

Race 10

RUN FOR MERCY (1) attempted to lead throughout when a narrow 3rd to SPORTS PACKAGE (2) before leading throughout to defeat a weaker field at Pinjarra. She looks the leader again here and should be hard to catch. STAR FROMTHEPALACE (9) had to do too much work last start but will play a part if she has any luck from this draw. BLOCKJORG (6) ran a nice 2nd to the favourite on Monday and shouldn’t be far away. FIFTY FIVE REBORN (8) showed plenty of ability in her first campaign and must be respected first-up from a spell.

Suggested Bet: RUN FOR MERCY (1) to win.

Race 11

BLACK JACK BABY (3) has won all of her three race starts and looks the leader and winner again here. OUR SHELLEY BEACH (6) is on debut but has won a trial in slow time so must be respected. SOUND WAVE (7) has performed well in his two race starts but has a tough draw to overcome. SOHO GIGOLO (2) ran 2nd in a recent trial and shouldn’t be far away from this draw.
