The Scout: Saturday NBA Tips Posted on December 6, 2019December 6, 2019 | Posted by The Scout Minnesota Timberwolves (10-10) @ Oklahoma City Thunder (8-12) Minnesota had a fourth quarter collapse against Dallas last game and will be looking to bounce back here against their Northwest Division rivals. Karl-Anthony Towns has been a problem for opponents all season, and will be again for the Thunder’s Steven Adams. A lock for the All-Star game, KAT is going for 25.9 points, 12.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. The Thunder don’t have a player averaging 20 points on the season, while the Timberwolves have KAT and Andrew Wiggins (24.9). Minnesota’s improvement this season has come from taking care of the lowly teams in the league. Teams like the Thunder. Suggested Bet: Minnesota Win @ $2.15* Los Angeles Clippers (16-6) @ Milwaukee Bucks (19-3) Two of the glamour teams of the league in what could be a Finals preview. The Bucks have picked up where they left off last regular season, with Giannis Antetokounmpo on track for back to back MVP’s, boasting averages of 31 points, 13 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 steals. As expected the Clippers aren’t playing like they want (or need) the top seed in the Western Conference. They have a focus on load management and postseason momentum over individual statement games like this. Milwaukee have won 13 straight games and will be have had their eyes on this clash from a long way out. The Clippers are too good to get blown out but the Bucks at home should be winning here. Suggested Bet: Milwaukee 1-10 (Margin) @ $2.80* Los Angeles Lakers (19-3) @ Portland Trailblazers (9-13) The Lakers are tied with Milwaukee for the best record in the NBA, led by the two headed monster of LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Portland have improved but are still 9th in the West, despite the best efforts of Carmelo Anthony and his 16.9 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. The Blazers have one of the best backcourts in the NBA, but their frontcourt might be THE worst. This spells trouble for Portland with the Lakers running out Davis (26ppg), supported by JaVale McGee, Dwight Howard and Kyle Kuzma. LeBron is leading the league in assists and the bigs at his disposal here should be too much for Portland to handle. Suggested Bet: Los Angeles Win @ $1.61* *Odds correct as at 9.25am, 6th December 2019. Market Market
