The Scout: EPL Week 19 Posted on December 24, 2021December 24, 2021 | Posted by The Scout Norwich City vs Arsenal Arsenal (3rd) are looking like a top four side as they have won their last three matches in the Premier League while Norwich City (20th) are on the complete opposite trajectory as they are almost a certainty to be relegated. The Gunner are rolling and have won seven of their last ten Premier League fixtures, most impressively five of their wins have been accompanied by a clean sheet. Mikel Arteta has made a point to focus on the defensive end and it has paid off. Norwich’s honeymoon period under new manager Dean Smith did not last long as they find themselves on a three-match losing streak. The most alarming result from these three losses is that Norwich were unable to score a goal as they continue to struggle offensively. This will be a straightforward win for the Gunners who are cementing themselves in the Premier League’s illustrious top four. Having kept plenty of clean sheets in their recent outings and taking into consideration Norwich’s lack of goal scoring power, another clean sheet for Arsenal is on the cards. Suggested Bet: Arsenal Win To Nil @ $2.88 Tottenham vs Crystal Palace Tottenham are undefeated in their last five and have moved up to 7th in the Premier League while London rivals Crystal Palace have managed to get back on track and now sit in 11th place. Spurs have played four straight home games and have recorded three wins and a 2-2 draw against Liverpool. They are starting to figure things out under new manager Antonio Conte and have clearly improved and a win against Crystal Palace will help their shout for a top four finish. Crystal Palace have struggled in recent matches only finding one win out of six in the Premier League. The biggest issue for Crystal Palace is their form away from home as the Eagles have lost back-to-back matches on their opponent’s turf. Prolific Tottenham striker Harry Kane has put his poor start to the season behind him and is starting to find his touch again. After going goalless for six straight matches, Kane found an important goal against Liverpool and is looking more comfortable under Conte. I expect Tottenham to dominate Crystal Palace from the opening whistle and they will create plenty of goal scoring opportunities which Kane will be on the end of. Suggested Bet: Harry Kane To Score A Goal @ $2.20 West Ham vs Southampton West Ham (5th) have started to struggle and will be looking to find form heading into their Boxing Day clash against Southampton (15th) who have also hit a wall after a great start to their season. The Hammers have only managed one win in their last six Premier League fixtures which includes two poor performances that resulted in draws against Burnley and Brighton. Alarmingly West Ham have failed to score a goal in their last two Premier League appearances and will need to figure things out fast before they lose touch on the top four. Southampton are in a miserable run of form and have not found a victory in the Premier League in six straight fixtures. Away from home the Saints perform at their worst and have only found one win in nine away trips this season. This will be the perfect fixture for West Ham to get back on track in front of their fans at London Stadium. Despite their poor performances in front of goal recently, West Ham score an average of two games at home which should be enough to put away a struggling Southampton. Suggested Bet: West Ham WIN @ $1.88 *Odds correct as at 7am, 24th December 2021. Market Market
