The Scout: EPL Best Bets Posted on July 24, 2020July 24, 2020 | Posted by The Scout Everton vs Bournemouth Bournemouth have spent the last five seasons in the Premier League but will need a minor miracle on the final day to avoid relegation. Everton can’t climb any higher than 11th, but after a relatively disappointing season, will be looking to finish their campaign on a high. They haven’t lost at home in 11 straight matches, which is also nice streak to try and keep alive here. The last six meetings between these two sides have seen an average of 4.16 goals per game. Bournemouth will be throwing caution to the wind, and having conceded 2.4 goals per away game over their last nine, will create plenty of counter attack chances for the Toffees. It’ll be a desperate Bournemouth side that steps out on to Goodison Park, and while they’ll make for an entertaining encounter, I see them ultimately falling short. Suggested Bet: Match Result Everton & Over 2.5 Goals @ $3* Arsenal vs Watford Arsenal are on track for their lowest Premier League finish in 25 years. Currently in 10th place, the London side can finish no higher than 8th. Watford (18th) have their Premier League future in doubt, with a win here possibly not enough to avoid relegation. Unfortunately for the Watford faithful, Arsenal at home are a different animal, having not lost here in their last eight Premier League fixtures. They are also coming off recent wins over Manchester City (FA Cup) and Liverpool, so we know they haven’t checked out mentally. To make matters worse, Watford are one of the worst travelling sides in the League. They’ve not won an away game in the Premier League in seven straight fixtures, and have only tasted victory on the road twice all season. Suggested Bet: Match Result Arsenal @ $1.91* Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Crystal Palace (14th) are on a shocking run of seven straight defeats and will be looking forward to the end of the season. On the other side, Tottenham (7th) are playing fantastic football. Undefeated in five Premier League fixtures, Spurs’ recent run includes the scalps of Leicester (3-0) and bitter rivals, Arsenal. The Spurs look to be finally clicking under Jose Mourhino. Harry Kane & Son Heung-min have been at the forefront and are destroying opposition sides. Kane in particular who has scored four times in the last two games. Tottenham are firing on all cylinders with eight goals in their last three matches. I expect them to have too much firepower again here. Suggested Bet: Match Result Tottenham & Over 2.5 Goals @ $2.35* *Odds correct as at 9am, 24th July 2020. Market Market
