The Scout: EPL Best Bets Posted on July 16, 2020July 16, 2020 | Posted by The Scout Everton vs Aston Villa 11th placed Everton have had an up and down season, highlighted by their excellent play at home and poor performances away. Aston Villa sit 19th and are currently in a fight to avoid relegation. Just four points separates Villa from securing another season in the Premier League, but they must win every match to have a shot. Unfortunately for Aston Villa, Everton are a juggernaut at home. The Toffees are unbeaten in 10 straight Premier League matches at this stadium, a streak that includes a draw against Liverpool and wins over Leicester and Chelsea. This should be a comfortable win for Everton. Aston Villa have only managed to win two of their 17 away fixtures in the Premier League this season, and have scored just twice in their last five road assignments. Suggested Bet: Match Result Everton @ $2.08* Crystal Palace vs Manchester United Any hope of a top half finish in the Premier League for Crystal Palace (14th) has been squashed by their abysmal run of five straight losses. Although they are safe from any relegation worries, The Eagles are playing so poorly many are suggesting they do not deserve their position. Manchester United (5th) blew a huge opportunity to go from 5th to 3rd after conceding a late goal to Southampton. The Red Devils sit equal on points with 4th placed Leicester and still have a big opportunity to climb into the top four. Finding goals has been a major concern for Palace, who have scored in just one of their last five Premier League matches. Manchester United however have the opposite problem with Rashfard, Martial, Greenwood and Fernandes all in impeccable form. United are unbeaten in ten Premier League matches and are scoring goals for fun. In their last five Premier League fixtures they have led at half time, and I’m looking for that trend to continue, and for them to finsih the job this time. Suggested Bet: Manchester United HT/FT Double @ $ 1.90* West Ham vs Watford West Ham (16th) host Watford (17th) in what is a massive game for both sides who are deadlocked on 34 points. A win here for either side would almost guarantee safety from relegation. Watford have won back to back games in the Premier League, but both victories were far from convincing. On the road this season they have been particularly bad too, winning just two of 17 games. The Hammers are coming off a huge 4-0 away victory over Norwich with Michail Antonio scoring all four goals in a stunning performance. I’m expecting another big performance from Antonio here, who could be the x-factor in this match. Watford have so poor on the road, coming into this game losing five straight away games. West Ham look up and about at season’s end, and I’m expecting them to extend this streak to six. Suggested Bet: Match Result West Ham @ $2.40* *Odds correct as at 9am, 16th July 2020. Market Market
