The Scout: EPL Best Bets Posted on July 10, 2020July 10, 2020 | Posted by The Scout Liverpool vs Burnley The newly crowned champions still have some work to do if they want to go down as one of the great (single season) sides in Premier League history. This should prove to be legitimate motivation. 10th placed Burnley are ending their season nicely, currently undefeated in their last four Premier League matches. Unfortunately for Burnley they venture to Anfield, a venue no visiting Premier League has tasted success this season. To add to their woes, Liverpool have scored at least three goals in the last three meetings between these sides. Liverpool have no weaknesses, and Jurgen Klopp has made it clear he is determined to break as many records as possible, keeping up the relentless play his side has shown all season. Liverpool will win this match. Hellbent on continuing their dominance, and with a shot at history within their grasp, I see the goals pouring in for the champions. Suggested Bet: Liverpool Total Goal Bands 4 or More @ $3.70* Norwich vs West Ham Norwich have been poor all season and since the restart of the League, have lost five straight. Sitting rock bottom on the table, they will not be in the Premier League next season. West Ham (16th) have been disappointing themselves. Their only goal now is to remain in the Premier League, with just three points separating them from the relegation zone. This is the definition of must win. Not only have Norwich lost all five matches, but they have only scored once during this stretch. There has been little joy, conceding 11 goals in these losses The Hammers on paper (and grass) have a much better side than Norwich. Although they have be lacklustre all season, they have shown glimpses of their potential, including a recent 3-2 win over Chelsea This fixture sees a club with everything to play for up against a side that has seemingly checked out for the season. The Hammers to win looks the bet of the weekend. Suggested Bet: Match Result West Ham @ $2 Brighton vs Manchester City Brighton (15th) are eight points clear of relegation which should be enough to remain in the top flight. Manchester City will take no joy in finishing second, and will be looking to take that frustration out on opponents for the rest of the season. They’ve scored 18 goals in their last five games! It has been a tough watch for Brighton fans as their side have lost back to back matches at home in convincing fashion. 3-0 and 3-1 losses to Manchester United and Liverpool look to have set a going rate for the top tiers sides. With the form of City, I think three is the minimum. City have taken maximum points the last five times these sides have met in the Premier League. And I think they’re set for another BIG win. Suggested Bet: Manchester City -2.5 @ $3 *Odds correct as at 9am, 10th July 2020. Market Market
