Sully’s NRL Preview – Round 25 Posted on August 24, 2017 | Posted by James Sullivan What a match to commence Round 25 tonight where the 2nd placed Broncos host the 5th placed Eels. These 2 sides met recently in Round 21 when the Eels were victorious but the Broncos defence has tightened up since only allowing 22 points to opposition teams in three matches. Friday sees the Canberra Raiders on life support to make the 8. They simply have to take care of business at home against the Newcastle Knights. The West Tigers head to Campbelltown looking to overcome an abysmal record there in 2017. The Cowboys side should be desperate for victory after four losses to quality opposition. On Saturday the troubled Titans play host to a Bulldogs squad that have had their fair share of tough times as well in 2017. The Storm then welcome the Rabbitohs to AAMI. They face the challenge of missing their leading try scorer Alex Johnston. Match of the round is at Shark Park where the 4th placed home side clash with the 3rd placed Roosters in an intriguing battle. Sunday sees the Sea Eagles head across the ditch to take on the Warriors who welcome back Shaun Johnson. Then it’s “Last Chance Saloon” for the St George Illawarra Dragons when they head to Pepper Stadium to take on a Panthers team who are on a 7 match winning streak and chasing a top 4 position.
