Sully’s NRL Preview – Round 22 Posted on August 3, 2017 | Posted by James Sullivan It’s “Retro Round” and to kick things off we’ve got the Eels taking on the Bulldogs – the two sides that combined for eight of the 10 Premierships through the 80’s. It’s back to the SCG on Friday night with the Dragons hoping to overcome the Rabbitohs who have had the wood over them in recent years. Then we head to Townsville where the Cowboys and Storm will go toe to toe in an absolute blockbuster. Super Saturday sees the Knights (who repaid their loyal fans with victory last week) taking on the Warriors. Game 2 has two last start losers in the Titans and Broncos squaring off on the Gold Coast. Then it’s off to Shark Park where the Premiers await a desperate Raiders squad intent on attack. Sunday afternoon starts with a blockbuster between the Roosters and Sea Eagles with the Roosters chasing the Minor Premiership and the Sea Eagles looking to get their season back on track after conceding 92 points in the last fortnight. And to finish the round it’s the in-form Panthers (who have won eight of their past 10 matches) up against the Tigers at Home.
