Sully’s NRL Preview – Finals Week 2 Posted on September 15, 2017September 15, 2017 | Posted by James Sullivan We were treated to a cracking week one of finals action and it is set to continue tonight when we head to Suncorp Stadium where the Broncos welcome the Panthers in front of what will be a massive home crowd where they have won 10 from 13 this season. The Panthers have won four of their last six clashes against the Broncos and are the undisputed champions of the fast finish in 2017, scoring a massive 21 tries between the 70th & 80th minute and 33 in the last 20 minutes. The Broncos will need to start well and create a buffer with this in mind. Two of the most impressive teams from last week meet on Saturday evening when the Eels head to ANZ to clash with the plucky Cowboys. The Eels were outstanding in going down to the Storm last week and will be hoping their enthusiasm continues against the Boys from North Queensland. The Cowboys have only won 1 of their last 6 games but knocked the Sharks out in extra time on the back of a powerhouse performance by Jason Taumalolo. The big question is can they repeat that performance? I don’t think so against the Slippery Eels.
