FUN BOSS (Race 4 number 1) : Racing in career peak form and his last two wins in best of night times of 27.23 and 27.30 have been scintillating. Loves wearing red and from this draw has had 6 tries for 5 victories. Has exploded out of the boxes at his last couple and with a similar getaway will again shoot to the top. Once there the task of his opposition looks forlorn. Flying and can make it three on the trot in this.

STARLIGHT BELLA (Race 5 number 3) : Smart young sprinter who has won 3 of her last 4 starts at this circuit in impressive style. Won here 4 back over the 490 metres in 27.44 and at her last couple over the 405 metres has recorded victories in 22.56 and 22.52. Has been beginning nicely and from this suitable alley looks likely to again take up a prominent position. Another smart youngster in the care of Paul Stuart who should zoom through the grades.

ROMEO’S COMET (Race 9 number 2) : Versatile campaigner who looks well suited by the step up to 647 metres in this event. Forget he went around last time out over the 490 metres when he found all sorts of bother and go on the previous effort when he was a winner here over the 490 metres in a swift 27.50.  Loves an inside draw and from here should be able to camp in a nice spot on the rail and finish the race off with zest. The kennelmate Winsome Jacko is a serious threat but I’ll stick with the proven pro in Romeo.
