Shayne Williams’ Saturday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on April 5, 2025April 4, 2025 | Posted by Shayne Williams CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 1 Boil Maker Thought we could play this guy a 3 x 7 type of play, always dangerous when you take on a dog like West On Sidney who has a huge engine and can run the hands off the clock when he gets it right and has some luck, but he’s been beaten at a very short quote his last two starts, and again he draws poorly tonight, Boiler Maker in box 1 can lead this race, he’s been showing good speed from wide draws and just been burning to much petrol tickets early on in his races, tonight he should get a soft lead and have a bit up his sleeve at the end. We are gone if Sidney is on his hammer though. But happy to be on the leader. Tips: 1-5-3-7 Race 7 No. 1 Iron Works The time has arrived, we finally see Iron Works up to the 715 metre journey, been waiting a while to see this bloke step up in trip, he gives every indication he will handle it no problem, been savaging the line over 600. We just may see a future star of the staying ranks here tonight. I’ve had a big wrap on this fellow for quite a while, and I’m very exited to see what he can do at his staying debut tonight. Yes please. Tips: 1-5-4-7 Race 9 No. 8 Flying Freda She was massive in defeat last week to Miss Ronnie Mac, should be peaking for fitness now this is her 3rd run back from a lengthy break, absolutely loves the fairly floss 13 starts for 8 wins and 5 placings. Good race but I’m very keen on Freda tonight. Tips: 8-1-6-4 Market Market
