Scott Embry’s Sunday Geraldton Preview Posted on April 27, 2018 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 BULL BIZARRE was only fair on debut but suggest he is better than that. FREDA is in a similar boat, was far from impressive but falls into a weak field. COLONEL JESSUP likely opens favourite and is very one paced. AMUSIUM BALLOTI next best. Numbers: 2 – 5 – 1 – 3 Suggested Bet – BULL BIZARRE WIN Race 2 GOLD JUEL was a good run last start and can go close from a nice draw. YADREAMIN’ hit the line hard on debut and should be right in the finish. BARRITUS trialed reasonably and hails from a strong stable. HELLMAN next best. Numbers: 3 – 5 – 4 – 1 Suggested Bet – GOLD JUEL EACHWAY Race 3 ROUND THE POINT has a nice cruising speed and should find the front. This is far easier than recent assignments. ITCHY NEE never saw daylight at his WA debut, pay to forgive. RECHARGER is hard to catch but capable when right. FLIRTALICIOUS either leads or parks on the favourite. Numbers: 1 – 5 – 2 – 3 Suggested Bet – ROUND THE POINT WIN Race 4 TRADEMARK has to lump a big weight but this is the easiest field he has met this entire campaign. TIME AND TRUTH should get a nice soft run just behind the leaders. YOU ARE IDYLLIC draws a gate to be competitive. LIBERTY LEE may be better suited back in the field. Numbers: 1 – 7 – 11 – 2 Suggested Bet – TRADEMARK WIN Race 5 BLUES SHADOW lacks a real killer blow but she is ultra consistent, the kind of mare you’d love to own and should be right in the finish yet again. SHARREADA has been promising to win one for some time and this is more than winnable. WING COMMANDER back up to a mile suits. LADY SATAB has a nice turn of foot. Numbers: 5 – 6 – 4 – 3 Suggested Bet – BLUES SHADOW WIN Race 6 THREE GENERATIONS has put his hand up for Geraldton horse of the year after going straight through the grades. Can win again and possibly head to town. TRULY GOLD has had a whirlwind preparation but this is a nice race for him. HECADANE’S CHOICE can park on speed and go close. DYNAMITE JACK a query at the trip but hitting the line hard. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 6 – 4 Suggested Bet – THREE GENERATIONS WIN Race 7 TRADE TALK finally broke through for a deserved win last start and can go on with it now in similar company with slight weight relief. FIELD OF VISION put the writing on the wall first-up and then was aided by a peach of a ride to win last start. THERE AT FIVE trialed well before a reasonable return. GOLDEN ACRES next best. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 5 – 6 Suggested Bet – TRADE TALK WIN Race 8 POLITICS should sit leaders back or three back the fence and his form has been sound ever since arriving in Geraldton. CRANKYDANCER sat on top of a blistering tempo last start and faded. WOTCHINYU is an interesting runner back sharply in trip. VITALISM gets a big weight relief from recent assignments. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 2 – 11 Suggested Bet – POLITICS WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 3,4,5,6 1,2,6 1,2,3,5,6,8,9 1,2,3,4,11 [button class=”bet-now” style=”btn-default btn-lg” type=”link” target=”false” title=”Bet Now” link=”https://www.tabtouch.com.au/racing/2018-04-29/cr” linkrel=””]
