Scott Embry’s Sunday Albany Preview Posted on March 28, 2019 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 HAPPY SANDAY has found his race on paper. If he doesn’t win this lowly Albany maiden the he may be leaving the JT Warwick stable. Loomed as the winner in a staying maiden last time out and now dropping back to a mile and drawn soft. Should be winning. ORASKY continues to run placing after placing without being able to break through. SCENIC JOURNEY should hit the line from back in the field. KEBALAH can waltz to the front and give cheek. Numbers: 1 – 7 – 6 – 3 Suggested Bet – HAPPY SANDAY WIN Race 2 ALTANI is likely to open ~ $1.40 and looks very hard to beat. Was well thought of on debut and ran well in a race where they clocked extremely good time. Was never taken out of first gear in a recent trial and looks the winner. GEOTHERMAL has been a shade disappointing so far after an encouraging trial to start her career. KAYELMAR has had plenty of chances but this is winnable for her. SORAMIMI with the shades on an improver. Numbers: 10 – 7 – 6 – 4 Suggested Bet – ALTANI WIN Race 3 INFLATION is a 3 year old who will be worth following all preparation. He is more than capable of winning metro races from what he has shown so far and if they let The Boond take him to the front it will be lights. JADE REEF likely comes out running to sit outside and is a filly with ability. YADREAMIN’ off a soft run can run a race. DYNAMITE BAY won well on debut after a big trial splitting Dream Lifter and Calbanesco. Draws horrid and Whiting jumps ship. Numbers: 2 – 9 – 12 – 1 Suggested Bet – INFLATION WIN Race 4 ARRUM BOY was eye catching last start. The track was a deteriorating soft6 and nothing made ground all day. He was brave when coming from well off them and taking ground off those in front of him. Gets a senior back aboard here and draws a gate. Very hard to beat. TRANQUILLA SUNRISE has hit form and if he finds the front will take catching again. RUN LIAM RUN is all class and can overcome the draw. FRIAR’S GIFT with no weight can run a race at odds. Numbers: 3 – 10 – 2 – 9 Suggested Bet – ARRUM BOY WIN Race 5 MY GIRL CHILLY is likely to be allowed to roll from the outside gate and from there she is likely to break the field open and play ‘catch me if you can’. SHORT BLACK ROMAN is limited. He has only won the 1 race and had more than his fair share of winnable starts but he is going well this campaign, Hall sticks and this field lacks depth. BENTLEY’S BROTHER is consistent but struggles to find the front. STEP RIGHT UP gets it soft along the fence but has been only plain this campaign. Numbers: 10 – 5 – 3 – 6 Suggested Bet – MY GIRL CHILLY WIN Race 6 NOTTA MOCHA really does look like one who can step up from Albany into the Belmont Park Saturday Graduation scene over the winter. This is yet another race at his mercy and looks hard to beat. ITS NOT TRADING steps out in trip and should be left alone out in front. CANNA LILY is a wonderful old race mare who is firing on all cylinders. PRINCE FRIAR always a chance in this grade. Numbers: 3 – 5 – 2 – 6 Suggested Bet – NOTTA MOCHA WIN Race 7 THREE SECRETS jumps off the page. He is likely to be in the red but his Saturday metro form is simply lengths and lengths superior to rivals. He is a C1 in a C5 with top weight but if he reproduces any of his recent ratings he’ll be winning. WAR JEUNE is capable of making it a stable quinella with the right run. MALILANGWE is drawn poorly but going well and has been in form since joining Roy Rogers. BOXONLUCY has been a hard horse to catch in recent times. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 4 – 6 Suggested Bet – THREE SECRETS WIN Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 2,3,10 5,10 3,5 1 Market Market
