RACE 1

NO WHISPERING should again roll straight to the top and control the race. After the claim for Chanel Cooper he drops half a kilo on his soft last start victory and provided he is allowed to roll from the 800 he should be able to lead and win again. SOLDIER’S CAMP looks the big danger because he can sit leader’s back and stalk his every run with senior rider Tash Faithfull aboard. Leonora and Leinster Cup winner who is a legitimate danger. ONEMOREFORLEO is racing a little one paced deeper into the season. DANCING JACK is an enigma.

RACE 2

CAN’T BE DONE resumed in the Ron Sayers Memorial (m66+) when finishing sixth behind two subsequent winners in Crippalenko (races in the Prince of Wales on Saturday at Ascot) and Zing To Win (races in the 72+ 1000 on Saturday at Ascot). Was well found in betting late last start and ran a solid second and is racing like 1300m will suit. KICK A GOAL SON returns to the grass, has a set of blinkers re-attached and has a senior rider back on. Plenty to like. NICCOLITE has been nominated (and accepted) a few times without starting in WA just yet. Expect she’ll scratch again unfortunately. HIGH PRESSURE can lead and control.

RACE 3

ON JUST TERMS has had two starts for Dion Luciani in Perth and has finished 3L off Divine Impact, Catch Carter and Heavy Metal before finishing 6L off Catch Carter, Magnique and Lucky I Am. They’re both quality form reference races and she drops 3kg heading into a Kalgoorlie maiden joining Peter Fernie. Looks a great set up for her. WEAPONS HOT wasn’t too bad behind Flagship in the York Maiden handicap last start and drops 2kg out of that event into this. RODNEY OH RODNEY is quick and if Boy Hill takes him up he’ll give cheek. THATSTHEWAYILIKE IT next best.

RACE 4

EEVALINA is bursting to win a race. Third behind Zing To Win, second behind Zing To Win, third behind Secret Style and Zing To Win, second behind Secret Attraction and then off the 3 day back-up was nailed on the post by Laquetta’s Gift. Deserves to break through and win one. SECRET ATTIRE went under at even money last start but was held up at crucial stages on straightening. Clear forgive. SCIENCE DEGREE can measure up at this level dropping 6kg. BLUE CAN TALK was much better last start.

RACE 5

BLITZEM BABE looks ready to win after running second to Dreamers Never Die and then second to Dublin Red. Maps to get every favour and Chanel Cooper is riding her well. This is her chance. THE LIONS GATE was well supported in betting at his WA debut and ran a cheeky race. If Madi Derrick can kick through to lead he’s a big chance in this. DUBLIN RED meets Blitzem Babe 1kg and Floba 1.5kg worse respectively and from the wide draw she may end up a fair way off them. FLOBA is trying hard but continually finding one or two better.

RACE 6

LADY DUCATI ran a cheeky race on Cup Day in the Westspeed Platinum and then got over the top of her rivals impressively last start this track/grade and the extra 100m only helps her. See no reason why she can’t be hard to hold out again. RULING DAME has had an ‘almost’ campaign. Thought she got her chance last start behind Dreamers Never Die but worth remembering prior to that she did beat home key rival Lady Ducati by 1.5L. FIENDISH is not an easy horse to follow but he’s got ability. JET PLANES broke his maiden in style.
