Scott Embry’s Saturday Bunbury Preview Posted on October 11, 2018 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 TOGETHER WE DREAM has put together two very encouraging runs for a maiden against Class1 opposition. Draws a gate to sit right on speed and in a race where the big rivals will be back in the field. BEL MY PAGO could not have been any more impressive at trials on Monday. Came down the middle with the handbrake on. Needs luck but looks very handy. ENCENDIO trialed well over a month ago but was not knocked around. BLACKWOOD FLYER was cut out when attempting to take a run first-up. Numbers: 12 – 14 – 9 – 11 Suggested Bet – TOGETHER WE DREAM EACHWAY Race 2 BEAUCOUNT should find the front with Abeldane never brilliantly away but even if he doesn’t find the top he should still be hard to beat. Dark Prospect and Reveille were beaten out of sight in his race last start and both won soft at their next start. GOODLUCK SIMBA probably doesn’t have the strongest race form but should get a soft run behind a hot tempo. ARCTIC STREAM returns to his home ground and has shades on, deserves favoritism. SALON DU CHEVAL is a massive animal with huge upside. Keep following him this prep. Numbers: 3 – 5 – 2 – 1 Suggested Bet – BEAUCOUNT EACHWAY Race 3 MASTER MAGICIAN will be the forgotten galloper in this field. He flopped badly in the Coolgardie Cup on a rock hard Kalgoorlie track. Went around at $5 in that field which was far stronger than he meets here. Sting out of the track and Pateman back on who has ridden him to his last four wins. Worth a spec. WATIJADOO races well outside the handicap but will run them along for a long way. QUEEN BEY could spot the leaders a huge start which is concerning. NOIR DE RUE is on trial at the trip but last start win was big. Numbers: 3 – 10 – 7 – 5 Suggested Bet – MASTER MAGICIAN EACHWAY Race 4 SPECIAL REWARD is a special. Perfect use of the 2.5kg allowance for a 3 year old gelding taking on the older horses. Cantered in at a recent trial without blinkers and should sit in the breeze, or roll to the top, and prove simply too classy. ROYAL COMMAND first-up no trial is the logical and possibly only danger. Gets back and will charge but is chasing a good one. MULTIVERSE has really hit form and must be respected. SNOW BLOSSOM may not appreciate the rain affected track but she loves Bunbury. Numbers: 8 – 2 – 1 – 6 Suggested Bet – SPECIAL REWARD WIN Race 5 AGENT PIPPA is arguably the only 1000m type in the race which certainly makes things interesting. She should find the fence and if Jordan Turner allows her to run along she may have them chasing. LADY COSMOLOGY likely lobs leader’s back and gets wonderful weight relief on Valour Road from their 2 year old encounters. BLACK SABBATH is drawn woefully. There may be no spot for him except three deep the trip in the small field. VALOUR ROAD trialed brilliantly but 60kg is a big leveler. Numbers: 4 – 6 – 3 – 1 Suggested Bet – AGENT PIPPA EACHWAY Race 6 SALORSCI was eye catching first-up when getting back to last. Jerry Noske is replaced by her brother Jarrad and second-up at 1100m he gets his chance to bounce back to the winner’s circle. STAGEMAN is the obvious danger and could well be a future top liner. His trial was brilliant but likely gets a fair way off them. BLACKLINE bounced out of the gates for the first time in a while. She is quality on her day. HOW TO FLY is well weighted with Kirby but drawn very awkwardly. Numbers: 2 – 10 – 8 – 4 Suggested Bet – SALORSCI EACHWAY Race 7 ACTION is first-up in arguably his toughest test to date but trialed very sharply and should get a soft run three back the fence. His turn of foot is electric and if he gets out can definitely test his more experienced rivals. Interesting however to see W.Pike abandon him. GREAT AGAIN rolls straight to the top and controls the speed. Not a huge amount of tempo and is a proven winner. MISSILE LAUNCH could find himself in the box seat from the gate and it’s hard not to like his trial. PRIZE CATCH is never far from the action. Numbers: 6 – 8 – 10 – 3 Suggested Bet – ACTION EACHWAY Race 8 OUQBA JACK was never in a winning position first-up and still managed to hit the line well enough. Step up to 1400m should suit and if he can wind up three deep with cover could be the blowout. RECHARGER makes his own luck out in front. If the fence is hot then he’ll be hard to reel in. MIRACLE MAN drops sharply in grade. If you put a line through his first-up run he jumps favourite. REGAL MOON broke through last start and can go on with it, just drawn to do it tough. Numbers: 6 – 8 – 1 – 5 Suggested Bet – OUQBA JACK EACHWAY Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 1,3,4,6 2,10 3,4,6,8,10 1,5,6,8,10,11,12,16 Market Market
