Scott Embry’s Pinjarra Park Preview Posted on January 6, 2017 | Posted by Scott Embry Race 1 DISNY trialed very quietly at Bunbury, crossing the line under a hold. Great opportunity for Lucy Warwick to ride her first winner back from a short break. MONEY MAHER savaged the line over 1000m on debut, with race experience and an extra furlong will be hard to hold out. THE SHOE has gone through two trial untested and looks another debutant with ability. EPIC GREY trialed greenly but looks to have a stack of natural talent. Numbers: 7 – 2 – 6 – 3 Suggested Bet – DISNY EACHWAY Race 2 STREETS OF LONDON returns to the track for a new stable after a string of frustrating performances. Hopefully in a new environment coupled with a myriad of gear changes Justin Warwick can find the key unlocking his talent. FAULTY should get a soft run after being off the track throughout at Albany. STAUNTON hit the line hard first-up in a leader dominated affair. CLAPPA THUNDER is a non-winner but can lead and give cheek. Numbers: 4 – 5 – 8 – 1 Suggested Bet – STREETS OF LONDON EACHWAY Race 3 GEE BOSS has the electric gate speed necessary to ensure he takes full advantage of his wide gate to position up against the outside fence. Debut win over 1000m was very strong holding out boom filly Sweet Ora. DAINTY TESS is the class runner of the race and senior rider Paul Harvey replaces stable apprentice Sarah Bonner. PRIZE CATCH is the only horse to have won down the Pinjarra straight. COOL KNIGHT is drawn the wrong side of the track but has Pike. Numbers: 3 – 1 – 7 – 6 Suggested Bet – GEE BOSS EACHWAY Race 4 PRECIOUS MEMORIES is a maiden filly with a black-type placing to her name. This is her best chance to date to crack it for a well-deserved win. GATTING has been sensational all preparation, scratched last Saturday after hitting his head in a floating mishap. If he makes it to the track he goes very close. LORD LUDLOW is drawn to sit right on speed. GENERAL HUSSON has gone from strength to strength at a new stable, this is his acid test. Numbers: 9 – 3 – 1 – 5 Suggested Bet – PRECIOUS MEMORIES WIN Race 5 DISCO METAL is better than her last start forth when forced to change directions numerous times down the home straight. Ridden cold she can zap them all. SECRET MINX is way over the odds if she can cross and lead. Not a lot of speed drawn underneath her, worth an eachway ticket. CELEBRITY DREAM represents the cerise and white Peters juggernaut and deserves favoritism off her first-up run. RADIANT GIRL is a lightly raced mare on the rise, this is her toughest assignment to date. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 5 – 13 Suggested Bet – DISCO METAL EACHWAY Race 6 HAY MAGIC has been reeling off electric late sectionals over 1800m and only needs to reproduce those efforts to be competitive in an incredibly even race. SECONDMENT is a last start winner dropping 5kg down to a postage stamp weight. ROYAL ATTRACTION has always raced like a middle distance mare. BOWL A DOOSRA will be out in front for a long way and horses tend to keep kicking for noted front running hoop Mattieu Autier. Numbers: 4 – 13 – 12 – 6 Suggested Bet – HAY MAGIC EACHWAY Race 7 GLORYLAND is undefeated at Pinjarra, winning 4 from 4 at the track. He will lead and give backers a great sight. SASSO’S CIRCUS is drawn to get a lovely run midfield and looks the logical danger. JUICING CARROTS returned in a blaze of glory for his new trainer. Awkwardly drawn but races off the speed regardless. PUSH TO PASS is much better suited in this grade after racing predominantly at 72+ level this campaign. Numbers: 3 – 5 – 2 – 7 Suggested Bet – GLORYLAND WIN Race 8 PINZU produced an emphatic last to first win at his most recent outing and with William Pike back into the saddle looks incredibly hard to beat. DENDEE has been ultra consistent all preparation and looks suited here. KING OF WU has blinkers added for the first time in his 44 start career. Should position up handy in running and can bob up at odds. UPTOWN FUNK is drawn to get a lovely run throughout and her efforts in Listed mares company earlier this campaign were strong. Numbers: 8 – 6 – 13 – 10 Suggested Bet – PINZU WIN Race 9 TOMMY WHO looks as though he will have to sit outside the lead and punch the breeze throughout to win, however, is definitely capable of doing it tough and still winning. KEY TO FAME is drawn to lead and will ensure Tommy Who is afforded no favors in running. TUCKY’S LAD should be sitting right behind the speed from barrier 1 and could be the knockout hope if the two favourites engage in a speed battle. MR AFRICAN is WA’s biggest animal and should power home off a hot tempo. Numbers: 4 – 2 – 14 – 7 Suggested Bet – TOMMY WHO WIN SuperPick – Profit Plus Quaddie Race 6 – 2,3,4,6,12,13 Race 7 – 2,3,5 Race 8 – 6,7,8,10,13 Race 9 – 2,4,14 Bet Now!
