He charged down the 1000m straight at Pinjarra, clocked a slick time and was doing it entirely under his own steam. For a free rolling front runner he’s not the most smooth of beginners but he musters quickly and expect he’ll be ridden aggressively to try and find the top. May have to settle for the breeze outside of speedy filly Snippenova but from there he’s still the one to beat. Looks exciting. MAKE YOUR POINT comes through a 3 year old Saturday race where he was less than three quarters off Deep Envy, Pot Shot and Ex Sport Girl. PENNED has put two together at Albany after Make Your Point beat him first-up. SNIPPENOVA likely looks to hold up. Numbers: 1 – 3 – 2 – 5 Suggested Bet – GO GO GROMMET WIN RACE 2 MILITARY POWER again won a 400m jump out and 1000m trial leading into his return to the races. Resumed in a 3 year old 0MWLY when run down late (up his inside) by Ruler Rocket. In that race he beat home Kosta’s Crown ($3.80 into $2.70) who won a 66+ on Saturday and Amelia’s Trust ($15 into $6) who broke her maiden last week. Looks the right form and he’ll look to cross to the fence. OUTFIELD gets a wonderful opportunity to park leader’s back on a front runner who will give a kick into the straight and allow you to slide through into the race. Great map. Logical danger. PLATINUM CLASS has been freshened. SCENERY has some ability. Numbers: 2 – 3 – 8 – 5 Suggested Bet – MILITARY POWER WIN RACE 3 WEAPONSON looked a special in the Old Comrade when sneaking in perfectly on the minimum. To the surprise of many he settled rearwards and seemingly went to another level when winding up brilliantly from last down the centre to zap them. Rises 4kg to 58kg but retains the services of William Pike and the way he’s going it’s hard to see any of them turning the tables on him. Looks like back to back features on paper. BIG BADA BOOM meets him 4kg better and was only 2.5L off him. Hard horse to catch but if he steps cleanly he can take it up. LAST OF THE LINE is racing like he wants 1800. PLAYING MARIKA gets a soft run again. Numbers: 3 – 4 – 1 – 2 Suggested Bet – WEAPONSON WIN RACE 4 MARZIPAN LAD seems to be building into his preparation. Ran sixth first-up when fading out of it behind My Fury, Senorita Dorotea, Kaymay and Sesswa in what has turned into a handy C3 form reference. Was nabbed on the post at York by the stablemate Civvy Street who ran a credible fourth behind No Dice on Saturday in a Westspeed Platinum. Getting fitter and can hold up from the inside. Stable is unstoppable at the minute. BONNIE LAD will sit back and look to zap them late. Brings alternate form through Esperance, Barker and Albany but all three runs have been strong. DIVINE PAIR actually wasn’t a bad run last start in review. He had Simple Logic’s back in running and held his own through the line. Should settle in a near identical spot here. SIMPLE LOGIC is flying but barrier 8 of 10 is a real curveball. Tough steer. Numbers: 3 – 6 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – MARZIPAN LAD EACHWAY RACE 5 UNDER INFLUENCE loomed large on debut but just blew out late. From that race King’s Sicario has gone onto be competitive in Saturday grade and She’s Imminent has since broken through. He improved first-up to second-up and should only get better again here. Looks to have enough tactical speed to hold a position in running and clearly has a turn of foot. CHINOBROWN will no doubt look for the top if possible. Looks your typical Maschino who will roll along and make his way through the grades taking his rivals out of their comfort zones. MANAVENDRA was better than it reads on paper first-up at Narrogin. Copped a heap of pressure. BOY BLUE back in trip could be a positive. Numbers: 5 – 3 – 6 – 2 Suggested Bet – UNDER INFLUENCE WIN RACE 6 BELGRANO BELLE was stiff not to score at her Ike Racing debut when she copped a whip across the nose and was beaten a half head. She then went to a C1 at Pinjarra and finished 2.5L off Shaka Zulu (undefeated and subsequent 58+ winner) and Pompey (subsequent C1 winner). Goes around eachway, has a set of blinkers re-applied and is drawn to get the run of the race. Very open race and one of many live chances. ROYAL ELITE is hard to line up. She’s a month between runs dropping out of the WA Oaks. For many fillies those staying tests are campaign ending runs. MYSTIC JANE got the job done back into a maiden last start. She can hold the top or take cover. Versatile filly. PLAYIN’ HARDBALL has some X-Factor. Numbers: 6 – 5 – 2 – 7 Suggested Bet – BELGRANO BELLE EACHWAY RACE 7 RED HOT HOPE has a senior rider on and looks the kind of animal who will really appreciate that key change. His first-up and second-up runs over unsuitable distances were excellent and then two back he had no luck when held up at crucial stages before flopping last start at 2400m. Back to 2150, drawn soft, senior on and eachway in an open race. Worth forgiving. FEELS DANISH split Duchees Demerit and Fear The Wind last start at Pinjarra. She’s dropping back into a 54+ and has the right form. Will be understandably popular in betting. MAKTASTIC looked gone before coming again last start. Seems to run for Chris Parnham. COTCHIN was never on the track last start. Huge effort. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 4 – 11 Suggested Bet – RED HOT HOPE EACHWAY RACE 8 RATION ALY was once a m79 rater. 13 of her last 14 have been in higher grade than this and the last time she dropped into a 0MWLY she finished second behind He’s A Lucky Lad. Forget her run at Narrogin, she was never in the race, two starts ago in a 72+ 1800 she’s only 4L off Weaponson, Birdieagle and Ciscojoe beating home Sluice Box and Double Digit. Happy to follow her in eachway. GUARD THE SAFE is a query at the 1800m but he’ll march across, take up a prominent position and comes through a fast run race. RECALLED absorbed a lot of pressure last start at Albany. He’s ready to win. WICKED FOX is in career best form. Impossible to knock. Numbers: 2 – 4 – 7 – 9 Suggested Bet – RATION ALY EACHWAY Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 3,5,6 2,5,6,7 2,3,4,10,11,13 2,4,5,7,9 Market Market
