Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Rundown Posted on July 1, 2016July 6, 2016 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Preview RACE 1 No. 3 High Mist Trainer Chris Waller has no less than 4 runners going around in this opening event tomorrow and this one could be the value on an each-way as at this stage we have no scratchings in an 8 horse field. Off the back of a couple of good trials he jumped out of the ground late to round up the leaders on the Beaumont track first up. Bred to get over ground he’s going to appreciate the 1400m big time tomorrow! RACE 6 No. 2 Lanciato Ex Kiwi galloper now with the Mark Newnham stable out at Warwick Farm who found the line strongly at his local debut here a couple of weeks back. His Te Rapa victory the run prior was super impressive showing a strong turn of foot to come clear and win by almost 2 lengths. Although up in the weights his fitness levels will have improved suggesting he’ll go one better this time around. RACE 8 No. 10 Thud One from the Snowden yard who resumed with an unlucky performance here a fortnight back. She was held up until late before really finding the line strongly in a race not really run to suit tempo wise. She’s only a lightly raced filly with plenty more improvement to come, she looks good value at better than each-way odds in the early markets.
