Randwick Thoroughbreds Preview – 5 March Posted on March 4, 2016March 4, 2016 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Tips RACE 3 No.9 Libran Godolphin import who caught the eye first up before having no luck at all last time out being held up in the straight before finishing off nicely from inside the final 150m. Much fitter third up here and from the inside draw Brenton Avdulla should have this one settling a lot closer in the run. Looks to have found the right race tomorrow. RACE 4 No.5 Heavens Above Tim Martin trained mare who is only lightly raced holding a very consistent record. She tackles stronger opposition tomorrow however with a strong finishing placing followed up by a dominant win here last time out certainly appears capable of measuring up. Look for her to be finding the line strongly, every chance she can get home right over the top of the leaders. RACE 8 No.10 English Very classy Gai Waterhouse trained filly having her first start as a 3yo tomorrow. Beat all bar the stablemate Vancouver in last year’s Golden Slipper which followed up a couple of impressive victories at Kembla Grange and here at Randwick. She’s trialled extremely well winning both in the lead up to this and looks set for a first up victory.
