TABtouch Punter of the Week Posted on June 22, 2016June 27, 2016 | Posted by TABtouch The $12k EURO hat trick As the Group Stage of EURO 2016 comes to an end, one punter is already celebrating after a three leg multi turned a lazy $10 into more than $12,000! The final leg of the multi proved fairly comfortable (a 3-0 victory for defending champions Spain) however the first two were anything but. Leg one needed an 88th minute strike from Inter Milan’s Éder (only one name so you know he’s good!) for Italy to get past the Zlatan Ibrahimovic led Swedes. While at odds of $23, a 2-2 result between Czech Republic and Croatia was always going to be a long-shot. And with Croatia up 2-0 with 15 minutes left to play, our Punter of the Week could have been forgiven for switching off and heading to bed! However a stunning turnaround came with a 76th minute goal for the Czech’s (followed by flares on the pitch and a delay of game) finally capped by an 89th minute (!!!) penalty converted by Tomáš Necid. Winning Multi Leg 1: Correct Score Italy vs Sweden ($5.50) Result: Italy 1-0 Leg 2: Correct Score Czech Republic vs Croatia ($23) Result: Draw 2-2 Leg 3: Correct Score Spain vs Turkey ($9.50) Result: Spain 3-0 Investment $10 with a multi price of $1,201.75 Paid Out $12,017.50
