Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on August 11, 2017August 11, 2017 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday 11th August 2017 Race 3 – No. 3 Junk Yard Wolf SuperPick – Money Back, Run 2nd. Consistent without winning, placing in all of his last 8 starts with the majority of them over this journey. He has a top record in white and should get a good run in behind the early leaders if he doesn’t end up leading himself. Should be fighting out the finish. Race 6 – No. 8 Supreme Ollie The youngster of the field who produced yet another barnstorming finish to just miss by a length in 27.88 last week. He’ll appreciate the wide draw where he gets plenty of room to move and will be doing his best work late. Rarely runs a bad race and must be followed again. Race 8 – No. 2 Brock On Will find this easier than recent outings in City Company and he does have a strong record over the trip, finishing in the top 3 in 9 of his 12 405m runs. He’s unbeaten in 4 exits from this draw and has gone as quick as 22.51 in the past. Strong winning claims in this. Cannington Saturday 12th August 2017 Race 2 – No. 1 Black Bombshell Speed machine who has his first red rug at his 12th start. Overlook his latest outing in National Sprint heat behind Found A Diamond and go on his previous efforts of 6 wins from 9 starts at the track. Should be too speedy for these. Race 8 – No. 2 Found A Diamond SuperPick Profit Plus 20% (Win) Faced the toughest test of his sort career last week and handled himself like a 100 start veteran and demolishing his rivals by over 5 lengths in a new PB and Best Of the Night 29.70. Tougher again tonight but he looks up to it from the perfect draw. Race 10 – No. 3 Blazing Moment His best recent efforts before going on holiday in the N.T were over the 600m but he does have a solid record over this trip as well and has broken the 30 second barrier. Drawn favourably and must be respected.
