Race 3 – No. 2  Lady Wild Fire

Slick beginner who fell at her only run over this trip. She has trialled since in a nifty 21.88 and will take catching from the favourable draw.

Race 6 – No. 4  Bundles Galore (Best Bet)

Placed in his only run over the trip and since then, he has finished on the podium in 10 of 13. He has looked in need of the extra distance in recent runs and commands respect in the small field.

Race  7 – No. 1  Backpacker Jack

The class runner who hasn’t won since March and has failed to beat a runner home in 4 of his last 5 but he is a winner in 4 from 6 in red and gets one more chance to find his best.

Race 2 – No. 7  Roxy’s Double (Best Bet)

Impressive when winning by 6.5L at juicy odds on Wednesday from this very draw, albeit in much easier company. Racing in great heart and looks hard to beat again while in her current mood.

Race 6 – No. 6  Packey Keeping

Former Victorian who finished 2nd to Fanta Bale in the Group 1 Bold Trease, beating home two of WA’s best stayers Moment To Jive and Petunia Monelli. He also has a win over his main dangers in this race Scott Keeping and Smooth Over and is sure to make his presence felt on debut in WA.

Race 9 – No. 2  Hello Cody SCR

Strong finisher who is back in winning form with a last start Northam win. He is a winner over a similar distance up there up as well and with the favourable draw, will be right in the finish again.

Race 10 – No. 7  Sprightly Fella

Impressive all the way winner on debut over the trip when breaking the 30sec barrier and defeating some handy types in the process. Can handle a wide draw and a repeat would not surprise.
