Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on September 15, 2017September 15, 2017 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday 15th September 2017 Race 2 – No. 2 Dandalup Brutus Talented chaser who has performed well in much tougher line ups than this. Recent form has been strong in the city and he looks hard to run down from his favourite draw tonight. Race 5 – No. 1 Lodgement Former QLD chaser who hasn’t done much since making the move to WA but he is a mad railer who draws the coveted red box for the first time locally. He has shown plenty of early toe in the past and he could cause an upset if left alone in front here. Race 7 – No. 8 Skipper’s Ticket SuperPick (Win Boost) Has shown a liking for the longer journeys with back to back 600m wins at Cannington in his only 2 tries. He’s yet to miss a place in pink and he did win his only 2 runs here over the shorter 490m so he does know his way around the course. Looks the one to beat again. Bet Now! Cannington Saturday 16th September 2017 Race 5 – No. 8 Astrozone In search of a hat trick with back to back wins from either side of the draw, both in solid times. He is a winner in 3 of 4 in the pink and he should get plenty of room to move out wide. He will be strong at the finish and must be considered a winning chance. Race 8 – No. 5 Honcho Monelli SuperPick (Win Boost) Doesn’t win too often these days but he is one of the most consistent placegetters going around in the state. He was flooding home for 3rd in a Spring Gift heat last week and if he is sitting close enough this time, he may just land that elusive victory. Race 9 – No. 7 Fire Blaze This is the easiest line up he has met for a while and although he has yet to win in 5 runs from this draw, he has the early pace to cross these and set himself up for victory. He’ll take beating if he does do just that. QUADDIE (Race 5 to 8): 1, 2, 4, 8 / 1, 5, 7 / 1, 2, 8 / 2, 3, 5. $50 for 46.29% TRIFECTA – Race 10 1 / 2, 4, 6, 8 / 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8. $30 for 150% FIRST FOUR – Race 9 7 / Field / Field / Field. $50 For 41.66% Bet Now!
