The Scout: EPL Week 15 Posted on December 3, 2021December 3, 2021 | Posted by The Scout Wolverhampton Wolves vs Liverpool Wolverhampton have clawed their way to 6th place in the Premier League after back-to-back 0-0 draws while Liverpool have won three straight matches and sit in 3rd position, only two points off the top spot. Jurgen Klopp has his side back to their best and this has been on full display over the course of their three-game win streak. Liverpool’s attack has been ruthless, in all three matches they have scored 4 goals while only conceding once. Mohamed Salah is clearly Liverpool’s best player, but Diogo Jota is starting to become competition for this title as he has been phenomenal since coming into the starting XI. Jota’s football smarts have allowed him to fit seamlessly in Klopp’s system and is paying dividends. Jota has been on a tear during Liverpool’s three game win streak and over the course of these games he has produced four goals. Coming up against his old side he will be familiar with his opponents and with the form he is currently in, plenty of goal scoring opportunities will be expected. Suggested Bet: Diogo Jota Anytime Goal Scorer @ $2.38* Watford vs Manchester City After back-to-back losses Watford have dropped to 17th just 3 points shy of relegation while their opponents Manchester City have won four straight matches and sit 2nd in the Premier League. Manchester City are hitting their peak and have won their last six matches across all competitions. During their win streak they have beaten Aston Villa, West Ham, Everton and Manchester United alongside two victories in the Champions League. Pep Guardiola has had to make some adjustments to the starting XI with Jack Grealish and Phil Foden having missed games. This has opened the door for Raheem Sterling who has been struggling for game time and he has now started the last four games for the defending champions. Sterling is a Premier League veteran and has been impressive of late managing to pick up two goals and an assist during his last four starts. With continued injury concerns for City, Sterling will find himself once again starting and with his current form, he is a fantastic option to score at least once in this fixture. Suggested Bet: Raheem Sterling Anytime Goalscorer @ $2.28* Aston Villa vs Leicester City Aston Villa (13th) suffered their first defeat under new manager Steven Gerrard going down 2-1 to Manchester City while Leicester City (8th) enter this match off the back of an exciting 2-2 draw against Southampton. Leicester have had an inconsistent journey this season in the Premier League, but their last two games have been extremely promising, especially from a goal scoring perspective. The Foxes 4-2 win over Watford was a particularly strong performance which saw them look comfortable in-front of the opposition goal. One of the biggest shifts for Leicester’s improved attacking returns has been the addition of James Maddison to the starting XI. Maddison was struggling for game time however the last two Premier League fixtures has seen the midfielder with a starting role. This has returned dividends as he has scored twice and picked up two assists during these two fixtures. The Foxes have a potent attack, with Maddison finding form and controlling the ball from the midfield combined with the finishing ability of goal-sneak Jamie Vardy. Leicester City have the firepower to outscore Aston Villa despite being on the road and will leave Villa Park with maximum points. Suggested Bet: Leicester City Win @ $3* *Odds correct as at 1pm, 3rd December 2021. Market Market
