Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on September 17, 2021September 17, 2021 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday, 17th September 2021 Race 5 – No. 8 Archibald The wide draw is a concern but he has the early pace to overcome the disadvantage. Yet to miss a place since dropping to this distance and another podium finish is expected again. Race 8 – No. 1 Remi Monelli Has found Stanga Moose a touch too good in FFA company when finishing runner up in good times to him in three of her past four. Back down in grade and drawn sweetly in red. Take catching this time. Race 11 – No. 1 Submariner Has been tackling stiffer opposition than this in recent weeks, finishing in and around the placings in City company on a Saturday at Cannington in 3 of his past 5. Unbeaten in red and does his best work over this trip. The one they have to beat. Each Way: Race 4 – No. 4 Another Quid Missed a top four finish for the first time in almost three months last week when rearwards throughout. Getting right down in the grades though and the improved draw helps. Capable of bouncing back with improvement at box rise. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 2.8 / 3.4.7.8 / 2.7 / 1.5.8 $50 for 104.16% Bet Now! Bet Now! Cannington Saturday, 18th September 2021 Race 4 – No. 1 Mambo Monelli Another who will appreciate the rails draw, one of only three times he has experienced the prized red alley in 21 starts to date. Has early toe and is capable of running time. Should give a grand sight for his followers in what is his toughest test to date. Race 6 – No. 1 Fernando Star Mixing form since returning to headquarters but he does have the cherry for the first time in over 3 months so he should be on pace throughout. Commands plenty of respect in this line up. Race 11 – No. 1 Projectory Has run some slick time over the shorter 520m and while recent form has been erratic and he does meet a talented line up, he will appreciate the red and can go all the way with a handy beginning in his 600m debut. Each Way: Race 10 – No. 4 Weblec Bloom Has been motoring home when it’s all over for placings in three of her past four at 520m. Steps back up to the 600m and looks ready to salute again. Massive winning chance here. Quaddie (Race 5 to 8): 2.5 / 1.4 / 4.5.7.8 / 1.4.8 $50 for 104.16% Trifecta – Race 2 6 / 5 / 4.7 $30 for 1500% First Four – Race 10 3.4.6 / 3.4.6.7 / 3.4.6.7 / 1.2.6.7.8 $50 for 78.12% Bet Now! Mandurah Sunday, 19th September 2021 Race 5 – No. 3 Go The Grove No luck when last seen over this trip, leading a long way before finding trouble when entering the straight and losing momentum to finish 4th. Ready for another shot and from the draw, should give plenty of cheek again. Race 8 – No. 7 Monalee Monelli Mixing form from inside draws but the majority of his best efforts have come from out wide and gets his chance to make amends from a favourable draw for him. Race 9 – No. 3 Stingray Gundi Well supported at his past couple but has found bother and finished well down the track in each. Prior to that he was working up to a win and with better luck on his side this time around, he can repay his loyal supporters. Bet Now! Bet Now!
