Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on May 5, 2017May 11, 2017 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday 5th May 2017 Race 5 – No. 1 Max Profit SuperPick Profit Plus 20% (Win) Explosive beginner who led for a long way in the Mandurah Derby last start before being caught late and finishing 3rd. Dropping to a distance where he’s only missed the place once in 12 tries. Looks too slick again. Race 8 – No. 6 Yuup Defeated Astrozone by over 4 lengths in a Heat of the Mandurah Derby before finishing an unlucky 6th to him in the Final a week later. Doesn’t mind a wide draw and should find this much easier tonight. Capable of bouncing back into winning form. Race 9 – No. 1 Barbican Has a strong record in red and has only finished further 3rd twice in 10 starts over this trip. With another swift jump, he is capable of doubling up tonight. Bet Now! Cannington Saturday 6th May 2017 Race 2 – No. 1 Allen Boydy Impressed with a last to first victory over the shorter 520m last week from a similar draw. Has looked as though he’ll appreciate the rise in distance and is well worth an Each Way ticket in this line up. Race 5 – No. 3 Lini Danco SuperPick Money Back Run 2nd Speedy type who will appreciate being surrounded by a couple of average beginners. The only query is her endurance over this trip but she will be in this for a long way and if she pinches a big enough break, she should be able to hang on and cause a minor upset in the process. Race 8 – No. 2 Pyredos Monelli Racing in fine form at present with strong back to back wins in quick times over the trip, both from awkward draws as well. He has performed well in much tougher line ups than this and only needs a solid jump to comfortably take care of his rivals. QUADDIE (Race 5 to 8): 2, 3, 6, 8 / 1, 4, 5, 6, 8 / 1, 7, 8 / 1, 2. $50 for 41.66% TRIFECTA – Race 9 1, 4 / 1, 4, 8 / 1, 3, 6, 7, 8. $30 for 200% FIRST FOUR – Race 5 2, 3, 6, 8 / 2, 3, 6 ,8 / 2, 3, 6, 7, 8 / 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8. $50 for 46.29% Bet Now!
