Drawn to find a nice spot in running to produce his customary withering late burst and should prove too classy for this line up. Race 3 – No. 1 Steampunk Wolf Caught the eye on debut in WA when racing prominently throughout and doing his best work at the business end for 2nd in a strong 22.89. Drawn one better for this and can turn the tables on PAR PEPPI (7). Race 6 – No. 1 Sunset Kodiak Form since returning to the trip has been strong, posting some solid times from modest draws at decent odds. A strong chaser who has been gifted her favourite draw and this looks hers for the taking. Each Way: Race 10 – No. 8 Sheriff Max Racing well in country company with wins in 2 of his past 3 in strong times. Cannington Saturday, 22nd August 2020 Race 2 – No. 1 Magical Fun Won with ease when returning to the trip last week, defeating NESSA’S YASMIN (2) by over 5 lengths in 21.93. Capable of going quicker and has the draw to do so. Looks too good again. Race 5 – No. 6 Regal Twist Had no luck in her track debut when finding plenty of bother over the shorter 380m. Better suited over this trip, having won 11 times in the East over the journey and gets her chance to make amends. Race 6 – No. 2 Sir Monty Talented type who bumped into a few of the state’s best sprinters at his past two when contesting a WA Sprint Heat and Final, placing in both. Will find this more to his liking and can prove hard to hold out. Each Way: Race 4 – No. 4 Grace Ali Running on strongly late at her past 3 for placings at double figure odds against this opposition and if she finds herself close enough early and the gaps appear at the right time, she can cause a blow out at a decent price again. Won’t find this any tougher and he looks set to continue on his winning ways.
