Race 4 – No. 3  Limburg Nemesis

Led for a long way from this draw on debut in WA when eventually rounded up by the smart Yunderup Magic in 27.94. Fitter for the run and won’t find this as tough. Strong chance of scoring her local first win .

Race 5 – No. 2  Werewolf Monelli

Talented chaser who has had no luck at all at his past two outings in the City. Led all the way from a similar draw over this trip in December and it would not surprise to see him return to winning form with an improved getaway.

Race 6 – No. 3  Nessa’s Ex Teddy

Impressive in defeat when giving WA Oaks hopeful Veyron Star a run for her money last week, just missing by a head in 27.59. Has a rare inside draw since moving to the West and she will find this more to her liking. Hard to beat.

Each Way:

Race 2 – No. 5  Fiorella Forward

Has been racing well without winning with placings behind smart up and comer Tandem At Pace. Capable of capitalising on any bad luck that her rivals may find.

Race 1 – No. 5  Rolo Monelli

Proven over the trip with two wins and a second against some stiff opposition. Has the pace to overcome the awkward draw and is capable of leading them all of the way.

Race 2 – No. 2  Sir Monty

Slick beginner who had no luck from this draw in a WA Derby heat last week but did salute in a near PB of 29.70 while wearing the rug three runs ago and gets his chance to make amends in this.

Race 8 – No. 1  Amarillo Highway

Never out of bother in his WA Derby heat when showing plenty of early toe from an awkward draw for him. Has everything in his favour and should take this home as a consolation prize.

Each Way:

Race 5 – No. 8  Veyron Star

Has the early toe to overcome the poor draw and should be on the pace throughout. Capable of the upset.

Race 1 – No. 6  Felix Otis

Well-bred making his race debut. Kept his mind on the job when recently qualifying in a messy trial from a similar draw and with that bit of experience on his side, he will go close to saluting at his very first outing.

Race 5 -No. 7  Weblec Wizz

Gave plenty of cheek in her WA debut when leading for a long way from this draw for second in 30.33. A similar effort can see her go one better in this.

Race 9 – No. 1  Oshkosh Ruth

Hasn’t been seen all year but she has come up trumps with the red alley, a draw she has only ever had once before in her 27 start career. Worth an Each Way ticket first up.
