Race 3 – No. 5  About The South

Has been racing consistently since making the move to WA and was a strong winner in his only run over the trip. The only concern in the squeeze box but if he holds his own early, he can muscle his way to victory.

Race 4 – No. 6  On The Take

Handy chaser who got the wobbles late last start after leading a long way. Should find this a little bit easier and with another swift jump, he can hold on this time.

Race 10 – No. 2  Running on Gas

A winner in just 1 of 11 over the trip but she has drawn favourably and will find this a bit easier than recent weeks. Can surprise.

Each Way:

Race 7 – No. 1  Breaker Upper

While a long way up in grade, she has yet to miss the place in red and will appreciate the rise in distance. Knockout chance.

Cannington Saturday, 9th November 2019

Race 3 – No. 3  Grace Ali

Racing well over the sprint trip in top company of late. She’s a two time winner over 600m and will be on the speed for a long way. Can pinch this if she leads and puts a gap on her main rivals early.

Race 5 – No. 6  Paw Pilot

Not the quickest early which may help him find the rails before the turn. If he does, he can rail up strongly and run down the early leaders just as he did last time, albeit in modest time. Value chance.

Race 9 – No. 4  Reidy’s Runner

One of the state’s best stayers who’ll appreciate the return to his pet distance after a strong blowout first up over 600m. Will be short but should be winning.

Each Way:

Race 7 – No. 1  Super Blade

Second throughout in easier company last week but she has an improved draw this week and can surprise at juicy odds.
