Race 1 – No. 5  If You Like

Hasn’t jumped all that well over 490m in both runs in WA and is also drawn awkwardly again but she is a strong finisher and should relish the drop in distance.

Race 3 – No. 4  Promethium

Handy beginner who should find this easier than recent outings from awkward draws against some handy chasers. Will be in this for a long way.

Race 8 – No. 1  Ren Monelli

Does her best work over the trip and has drawn nicely in a small line up. Expected to play a big part in the finish.

Race 2 – No. 2  Reidy’s Runner

The class runner who drops in distance after some impressive efforts over 715m. He has a strong record over this journey too and should prove too strong for these.

Race 5 – No. 1  Westdale Bandit

Smoked his rivals over 490m last start in a scintillating 27.23. Making his Cannington debut and can run the arms off the clock again.

Race 7 – No. 1  It’s A Bull

In search of a hat trick after all the way wins over varying distances in strong times. Drawn ideally and only bad luck will see him being beaten.
