Race 3 – No. 4  West on Augie

Exceptionally-bred chaser by Fernando Bale out of Mandurah Cup and Perth Cup Consolation winner Te Amo. He led all the way to qualify by 11 lengths last week in a sound 30.44 and will only improve on that outing. Should take plenty of beating on debut.

Race 5 – No. 1  Deerview Storm

Will be fitter for 3 runs back over this trip now where she finished in and around the placings against some talented chasers. She’s yet to miss the place in 3 runs in red and gets her chance to top the podium once again.

Race 6 – No. 2  Waterloo Monelli    SuperPick (Money Back, Run 2nd)

Has had no luck since graduating to this company, finding bother throughout from awkward draws at his past couple. The improved rug helps immensely tonight and if he is close enough around the first turn, he will be hard to hold out at the business end.
