She gave a lot of cheek in front at this track/distance last start and looks the likely leader again in a race where her main dangers will settle off the speed. HOLLER NUFF trialled alongside debut winner Linchpin then was held up at crucial stages in the straight first up. Big danger. Stablemate EFFORTLESSLY reeled off the fast 400m sectional of the meeting when making good ground from a long way back on debut and the winner (Spank Appeal) has since won again. ARTIC SNOW is worth keeping safe first up off the back of 2 quiet trials. Numbers: 7-1-10-8 Suggested Bet – SO MUCH SERENITY WIN RACE 2 HEAVEN SPECIFIC looks a handy 3YO resuming off the back of a nice trial. He was beaten a nose in a 2YO Saturday race on debut before getting blocked badly for clear running at his next start and even his effort in the Perth Stakes was better than reads on paper. EXCESS BAGGAGE has hit the line strongly in Saturday grade at both career starts and now drops back into a Maiden with only 53.5kg and the addition of winkers. LEMMOR is a hard-going type but has ability and looked more effective ridden colder at her last start two months ago. SOLAR CHANT is another resuming and ran third to the talented Elite Beau on debut last prep. Numbers: 5-8-4-9 Suggested Bet – HEAVEN SPECIFIED WIN RACE 3 HELLAVAMOMENT has trialled up brilliantly across 3 separate preparations over the past 10 months and finally makes his debut. The Hellbent colt will jump from 10/10 but it might end up a blessing as he hasn’t shown a huge amount of early speed in his trials but his turn of acceleration is impressive. DANCE ON SON is another 3YO on debut and has shown some pace in his trials. DANCEWITHME has drawn outside of the other speedsters but finished behind subsequent winners Magnique and The Calabrese on debut last prep. LOVIN’ ON ME debuted on this day last year but has only raced once since. Numbers: 9-8-4-3 Suggested Bet – HELLAVAMOMENT WIN RACE 4 WYNN LAS VEGAS was absolutely luckless when finding traffic then launching late in an eye-catching debut. Punters were left lamenting after he was backed into $1.70 at the jump but he looks a talented type who can make amends quickly. TOSCANA stretched Heeza Phoenix (races Saturday) last start and beat home Mr Kissinger (dead-heat winner on Wednesday) in the process. SOCIAL AFFAIR appeared to loom and peak first up but bumped into a couple of handy ones and should strip fitter second up. EXTREME RULER joins a new stable and hasn’t been far away lately. Numbers: 10-2-7-1 Suggested Bet – WYNN LAS VEGAS WIN RACE 5 OLD MATE HENRY has been a beaten favourite at all 4 starts this preparation (including at $1.40 last start) but SURELY he has found his race. He’s bumped into Grantham-CJP-Peters runners at his past 2 outings but meets a significantly inferior field here. NEAP TIDE ground to the line first up and likely still needs further. MIDNIGHT EXPRESS hasn’t quite been able to produce yet and steps to a mile now. MACHO ARQUERO has been solid at Kalgoorlie lately. Numbers: 1-4-5-2 Suggested Bet – OLD MATE HENRY WIN RACE 6 PHAROAH SHOW was tightened just as he was working through his gears 2 starts back then got within a half-length of the winner last time out. He drops from a C3 into a C1, stays at the same track/distance and looks the horse to beat. WHAT’S THE POINT never looked likely on the heavy-8 track last start and can be forgiven. His previous run was sound and he should be a sharp improver back onto a good deck and with some head gear going back on. ALMAYA finished alongside Pharoah Show last start and was beaten only a half-length in a race which has produced 3 subsequent winners in similar grade to this prior to that. GRANDAD’S ADICTION caused an upset first up and has shown glimpses previously. Numbers: 1-3-4-2 Suggested Bet – PHAROAH SHOW WIN RACE 7 KEGG’S LATER is a handy staying type who has found a nice race third up. He won 3-straight over 2200m last prep (including in this grade), has placed at both starts back in stronger company this time in and now gets to 2000m. HAFEY took out the Junction Cup before jumping favourite in the Carnarvon Cup and going down by less than a length to Outspoken Lad last start. His previous grass form is also more than good enough for this. ALNAUD broke maiden status at his first start for Grantham (26th career start) but hasn’t been seen for 6 weeks and now has pads on. ARNRAY next best. Numbers: 2-1-3-4 Suggested Bet – KEGG’S LATER WIN RACE 8 THREE GRAND set a hot tempo in front last start and was a game effort to only get gunned down in the shadows of the post after the rider unfortunately lost the whip in running. He defeated the progressive Centre Bond at this exact track/grade/distance 3 starts and has the speed to overcome the draw and be hard to get past. NOAHQUINTILLY resumes and will be better suited over further but she’s raced exclusively in Saturday grade her entire career (x2 Saturday winner and Gr3 placed). Beautifully placed with 58.5kg in a C3 after the claim. ROLLING RULER steps from a Maiden to a C3 from an outside draw but he looks untapped and the type of horse who would appreciate room to move. CALL OF DUTY was solid first up and now gets Pike. Numbers: 7-1-4-5 Suggested Bet – THREE GRAND WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 1 1,3,4 1,2,3,4,10 1,2,3,4,5,7,12 Market Market
