Race 1

Good battle here. SOVEREIGN JEWEL (1) has the draw to show the speed to lead and give them something to chase, big winner at the mile and then was decent in an unplaced run behind Miss Leopatra and Wishing Belle, will be a good test for her as she could cop some pressure from the tough type WHEELSOFORTUNE (2) who was fantastic in his fourth behind Im Stealthy, looks likely to breeze and keep the potential leader honest. FEAR THE STORM (4) is a talented type on return, just needs to find a position but tempo could bring him right into it. AUSSIE CAPTAIN (7) perfectly drawn and is a knockout chance with strong novelty claims. COCOBOLO (3) should settle close enough and will be looking to try and run over the top. BETTOR BEHAVE (5) and SOUTHERNER (6) have got awkward draws to overcome.

Suggested Bet: AUSSIE CAPTAIN (7) to place.

Race 2

LUCKY COPY (4) returns off the back of a solid trial in good time, has good early speed and could try and use that early dash to lead and if she leads, she should win. VISITING HOURS (1) has the perfect draw and has options after winning on Saturday night, with a sprint lane in operation, looks perfect for them to take the sit and get the final look. ROCKABILITY (5) was a solid winner two starts ago but quite ordinary on Friday night, which version are you going to get? FOLLOW MY STRIDE (7) has come back off her freshen up well, looks sharp and won with a leg in the air, should punch through and be handy to them and be a solid novelty chance. ON THE BACK FOOT (8) could improve and be a novelty chance.

Race 3

GALVINSTON JOHN (4) looks to work his way to the top and the way he has been going he will be hard to run down, does get keen in the run and over the middle distance it can detract from his finishing run. THE WHIZZER (5) likely rolls the arm and settles in the first half and looks a decent chance. CHIEF COPY (8) has the ability, but the trial left much to be desired and can be placed but looks like he will need the run. GOODONYA MATE (7) a novelty chance, likely to be three pegs at the worst. SONIC SEELSTER (9) will be running on with DANGER (6).

Suggested Bet: THE WHIZZER (5) each way.

Race 4

IT IS CRUNCH TIME (5) is perfectly placed but likely to be quite short in this, he has won his last two and is coming in fresh but has a distinct class edge on his rivals. HEEZ GOOD AS GOLD (2) has the draw to lead and has options from there, he is not at his best so may go the conservative option. BEYOND BLING (7) is a few steps below his best but will get the perfect run now with MAJOR BUZZ (1) moving to the outside of the front row after being a naughty boy on Friday in the score up. BEAT THE BANK (9) was a solid effort on Friday and looks a strong place chance as he can settle handy.

Suggested Bet: BEAT THE BANK (9) to place.

Race 5

Open race here. BREWERY LANE (3) can fly out and be handy to them, just needs to weave early but could lead, big query on whether he will be ready as he comes in first up but the distance suits. THE RIGHTEOUS (4) won a metro race on Friday and got away with plenty, looks to step safely and could play a part as an early leader. DAT LOVELY (9) will be running on but needs some luck, form is sound. GOGGINS (10) powered home on Friday and just needs a touch of luck. BARBADOS (5) improving and this grade will suit. SPUDMEISTER (11) comes off the 30m handicap but the class suits. EN PARIANT SUR (12) would’ve benefitted from that last run, normally steps well.

Suggested Bet: THE RIGHTEOUS (4) to win.

Race 6

BATAVIA WEST (3) should ping across to the top and realistically on current form, that should be all she wrote, doesn’t appear to be much pressure and the class is right up his ally. LOVE DEVINE (7) wasn’t a bad effort last time out, small field suits and expect to the pint-sized pacer run home strongly. SATAN PRINCESS (2) mixing her form, but this grade should see her in the money. SLOANIE BELL (6) better suited in this class, expect an improvement. LUNAR MISS (4) has mixed form since returning but does have early speed.

Tips: 3 7 6 2

Suggested Bet: BATAVIA WEST (3) to win.
