Race 1

SOHO CONFIDENTIAL (9) was a nice effort given the tempo of the race last time out and looks to be on the improve, suited in this and should run a bold race. RAMBO RABBIT (2) will be looking to lead and the distance suits, will give them something to catch. BULL SHARK BETTY (4) has come back soundly, has some decent speed and is a winning chance if he could bounce to the top. LOCAL RESIDENT (10) will be better for the first up run and run home well with JOEY JAMES (5) who is racing well enough to win. Novelty chances to SANFORD BART (1) and DAMAGE DONE (8).

Race 2

MAJOR BUZZ (8) is racing well and stands as a strong chance as he is becoming more versatile, lead is up for grabs and could create a genuine tempo and play right into his hands. DISPATCHER (1) is more of a hand up type but may try and lead, do prefer her at the shorter trip. GAMETIME (4) has turned the corner recently and looks a solid chance to head forward and be a major player. REDDY TO FLY (9) will be getting home strongly, he is racing well. KOLISI (3) a chance with CLOUD NINE (10)

Suggested Bet: MAJOR BUZZ (8) to win.

Race 3

DAT LOVELY (4) has turned a corner and racing well, suitable grade but a bit tricky in draw, major player with even luck. EYE BETTER (1) has the nice draw and all scenarios look suitable for her, she has been solid without winning and some bad luck along the way, appears a strong chance in this. MADAM MAGGIE (3) could improve and has some early speed. STIRUP IRON JACK (6) could keep things genuine as he is likely to head forward and do some work. SHES A MARE (7) perfectly drawn for her and is a swoopers chance with GOGGINS (10) who continues to get fitter.

Suggested Bet: DAT LOVELY (4) to win.

Race 4

Several chances in this. JAMIE KIM (1) has been racing well and looks to have the speed to lead if they use that option, either way he should be close enough and appears a strong chance. JAXON MORGAN (2) has some early speed but has been luckless in recent runs, ready to win and will be close enough. OVERLY EXCITED (6) capable but a hard horse to catch and faces a tricky draw. ADMIRAL DARCY (7) nicely drawn and a winning chance with even luck, just needs to hold his own early. LEAVEAMESSAGE (3) drawn to be handy with chances to MANHATTAN MOON (4) and JAXS IDEAL (9) who could improve second up.

Suggested Bet: JAXON MORGAN (2) each way.

Race 5

ALFA JESS (6) looks suited again and was driven out hard for the lead last time out and dominated from there, no reason she won’t be driven the same again and get the job done. MACH FREEWAY (9) wasn’t a bad effort first up for the new stable and looks suited in this grade, main danger. PRINCESS AVIATOR (2) is talented enough to run into the money with an improved run expected from ROCKNROLL DILINGER (1) from the draw. SUKHOVEY WINDCHIME (3) has the ability but needs to return to form and BAND OF ROCK (7) is an outside chance from the soft draw, has shown promise.

Suggested Bet: ALFA JESS/MACH FREEWAY to Quinella.

Race 6

SHOOBEES BOMB (2) was a good effort first up for Michael Young in the Westsired feature last Saturday night at Bunbury, has plenty of early speed and looks to break her maiden status in this event. MOJITO HEAVEN (4) has improved recently and ran well from the breeze two starts ago, should run well here. WESSY KID (8) is improving and should run home from the soft draw with PORT TO PLEASE (7) likely to run home well but faces a tricky draw following out a serial offender in doing things wrong with LORD NELSON (1) did get the clearance with a completed trial at Byford. CROWN GENERAL (3) has shown promise in the past but is first up.

Suggested Bet: SHOOBEES BOMB (2) to win.

Race 7

TRICKY TEXAS (1) was a good effort on return in defeat behind the talented Bumrah in good time, looks fitter and suited in this, should lead and win. ARMAFLIGHT (8) was a solid return run and holds a strong finishing burst to get into the money here. LORD VINCENTIUS (4) trialled well and has shown ability but has done things wrong previously, now under the care of Aiden De Campo. THE LIONS DEN (3) is next best for me, will get home soundly.

Suggested Bet: TRICKY TEXAS/ARMAFLIGHT to Exacta.

Race 8

IDEAL HEADLINE (2) has been trialling the house down recently and the race form doesn’t read up that great with manners, but trials have been good to suggest a win is nigh. EXPRSSING (8) was a nice effort from a bad draw last time out, should position up well and run home strongly. PAS DE BOURREE (3) has ability but gets quite fiery and has been her undoing at this stage, good run wouldn’t surprise. EDGE ELEVEN (4) has had a few chances and HUNGER (5) trialled soundly. MADE FOR ME (7) will be running home well.

Suggested Bet: IDEAL HEADLINE (2) to win.
