Race 1

TEXAS STORM (2) did it at both ends last time out and has the nice draw to burn to the top and look to hold in this race, has shown good ability and appears hard to beat. BETTER TOGETHER (12) looks to have ability but was a bit wayward at stages in the trial, expect a bold run in this race, keep safe. IDEAL AN ACE (11) run well off a soft run last time out, should follow through and be close enough to run a bold race. RAVENOUS (1) ideally draw to be considered for the novelties again with other novelty chances to DU SAVON (4) who could improve.

Suggested Bet: TEXAS STORM (2) to win.

Race 2

DUNCAN TWENTYTWO (10) was solid on return coming from well back and gets the soft draw here and could be following the leader, just needs a split late and will be hard to hold out. VISITING HOURS (1) has been battling wide draws and gets the pole to work with, looks speedy and hard to beat from that position. MONTERIO (6) will be rolling forward and is suited to this grade with CANELO (5) who didn’t have much luck last time out. Novelty chances to MY ULTIMATE KEVVIE (2) and FIORD (4).

Suggested Bet: DUNCAN TWENTYTWO (10) each way.

Race 3

POPPYONTHEBEACH (9) strikes another suitable race to try and break through this time in, this class suits even more and can overcome the draw and get the job done, was beaten by Artful Major last time out who performed well in metro grade, so the form is stacking up. QUEEN OF ALL (6) is a tricky horse to work out but looks to be a major player in this. ALFA JESS (11) returns and has a soft draw, could emerge from the pack and run into a place, keep safe in this, looks a novelty chance with plenty of others including LYCA FANTASY (1), LADY OF LEITH (2), MARGIMAC (3) and LUCK FROM ABOVE (10).

Suggested Bet: POPPYONTHEBEACH (9) to win.

Race 4

SALSAWITHSIERRA (1) has the draw to lead and control, only concern for her is she can get a bit fizzy and running out a strong middle distance could be of slight concern, but she looks the leader and has the form on the board. GO JACK CROCKER (10) looks the dangers as he will get the run of the race and be dangerous late. LUHRSY (2) will be close enough and ready to run into the money again, solid novelty chance with ROLLINDOWNTHERIVER (8), GET YA BETS ON (9) and LEEROY ROX (11).

Suggested Bet: SALSAWITHSIERRA/GO JACK CROCKER to Quinella.

Race 5

SHES A TINY DANCER (1) has options from the draw; she is racing well and looks to be in the money with whichever way they choose to drive her. TRUE GRIT (2) will be hoping that they hand up as that appears to be his best winning chance, finished down the track on Friday. ARISTA (4) has been hard to line up so far, wins have been soft and never looked likely last time out, could bounce back but may have to do the work. CAPTAIN SAID SO (8) used the high speed to victory last time out, tough draw on a smaller track here but is capable. CONTROL THE ROOM (9) returns from the river, happy to watch him and novelty chances to SOUND WAVE (12) and FLYING FELIX (7).

Suggested Bet: SHES A TINY DANCER (1) to win.

Race 6

BASINGHALL (1) can be a frightful watch early, but his last run was good, and he is a talented type, if he can overcome the early race demons from his past I think he can get the job done here based off the run first up. SONIC CHIP (2) is racing well and will either be in front or in the breeze, he races well on speed and should go close here. LETS ROCK TONIGHT (6) is racing well and needs to find a position, lacks a bit of early speed. STRIKE MASTER (3) comes in fresh and should settle close enough to be dangerous. Novelty chances to MAD PUNTA (4), BARBADOS (7), IL BANDITO (10) and BUNJIL MAN (11).

Suggested Bet: BASINGHALL (1) to win.

Race 7

This is very tough. GEARSINAWHIRL (1) hasn’t won this decade, let that sink in. He is a good front running type who performs best at shorter trips, not a deep race and will run well. FIREBALL FRIDAY (4) is ready to win; last few runs have been decent for a race of this nature. DON’T GOIN THEWATER (5) is capable of better. THE ULTIMATE BEACH (7) faces a tricky draw but can come into it. DANGER (8) needs a touch of luck as he lacks early speed and WRITTENINTHESKY (9) could be considered with the early speed, but form doesn’t support a big run now.

Suggested Bet: FIREBALL FRIDAY (4) each way.

Race 8

OUR ROBYN HOOD (1) gets the draw, has been doing the lions share of the work in the two career runs to date and deserves a win, early speed is the only concern but she will be very hard to beat. SOME DANCER (3) was eye catching on debut and looks to be further improved, will be dangerous in this. THESUMMAOFGEORGE (7) and SWEET ROBBIE (9) both have decent ability for Aiden De Campo but the draws hurt their main chances. IM CATASTROPHIC (4) is a novelty chance with EXPRESSING (5).
