Matt Young’s Saturday Bunbury Preview Posted on November 27, 2025November 28, 2025 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 YAWOMA (5) has the draw advantage over his main danger and should be heading forward and looks likely to find the top and from there will be hard to run down. BOUJEE BOY (6) is racing well, he didn’t get a crack last time out and should be right in the thick of it tonight. COMO EL VIENTO (7) will be fitter and closing off strongly with IT IS CRUNCH TIME (8) who will need some luck from the draw. NOBLE THORONDOR (4) was better last time out and can be considered for novelties with the returning BASINGHALL (9). Tips: 5 6 7 8 Suggested Bet: YAWOMA (5) to win. Race 2 VINITA ROSE (3) has come back well and strikes a suitable grade, should be driven like the best horse in the field and expecting her to get the job done here. ALTA KING (6) can be put into the race and will stick it out strongly. ISLAND TEE REX (5) closed off well last time out and is trending in the right direction, should be finishing well again. THE SWINDLER (2) is a hard horse to catch, fitter and nicely drawn and should be close enough to feature. Tips: 3 6 5 2 Suggested Bet: VINITA ROSE (3) to win. Race 3 Open contest here. WELEASE WODDEWICK (6) got home well last time out and should be fitter from that and looks a decent chance, hopefully on each way terms. OH MIKI (2) has been sound since returning, has the draw to be on speed and should run well. THOMSON BAY (11) got home well in his most recent run, and this could be a genuinely run race which could bring him and DEL BOCAVISTA BAY (12) into it. FUNKY MUSIC (1) is a place chance from the pole, last two have been better and she maps to be close. JINGLING JEWELS (4) is racing well but a bit of speed underneath him makes it more challenging. BET ON THE RIVER (8) is a winning chance with a touch of luck but likely must navigate from 3-4 back the pegs. COOPER (7) racing well but draw hurts. Tips: 6 11 12 8 Suggested Bet: WELEASE WODDEWICK (6) each way. Race 4 Another open race. HARRYS A ROCKSTAR (6) was given a task last time out and not surprisingly he weakened on the way home, looks a strong chance in this grade and expect him to go well. LIGHTFOOT LEIGH (11) has a tough draw to overcome but the class suits for him to run a decent race. THERE AND THEN (1) is going soundly since entering the new stable, has the speed to lead early and settle close enough, could be placed. DISPATCHER (8) could be dangerous with luck, has a good turn of foot but needs the split at the right time. I SEE FIRE (12) is racing well but the draw hurts. Novelty chances to ZUEDE (3), SWEET SASSYMOLASSY (4) and MANGO TANGO (7). Tips: 6 11 8 1 Suggested Bet: DISPATCHER (8) to place. Race 5 THREE FLAMES (2) has had more than a few opportunities now, but this looks suitable again, wouldn’t want to be diving in too short but a win isn’t too far away on form. ATHREESHOTEAGLE (6) could be an improver in this grade, has put in some decent runs for the new stable. ALTA GABBANA (8) nearly broke through on debut, can feature here but that first up run was in very slow time. OUR SERAPHINA (9) shouldn’t be too far away. PURELY PANDEMIC (3) hit the line better last run and could be in the novelties. BOOM IT UP (7) is capable but will need luck from the draw. AKABAH (11) could be an improver in this grade. Tips: 2 6 8 9 Suggested Bet: ATHREESHOTEAGLE (6) each way. Race 6 COOPERS IDEAL (5) comes in fresh but strikes a winnable race and looks hard to beat in this, she hasn’t had a trial to speak of this preparation but expecting her to run well on return. HEZ SPECIAL (6) can be a little bit wild; this grade is suitable to him but could be fresh and fiery which is a slight concern. LOW FLYIN (2) shouldn’t be too far away, he doesn’t win out of turn but is nicely drawn. LUCY VICTORIA (7) did things wrong last start, but prior performances were solid, expecting her to run home strongly in this. WHEEL FAST (3) was consistent last time in and although he might need the run, shouldn’t be too far away. Tips: 5 7 2 6 Suggested Bet: LUCY VICTORIA (7) each way. Race 7 I AM SIAM (3) is on the quick backup but his run this time last week was solid, was held up until last and ran through the line well, suitable race and can break through. ALLIZEE (2) was a decent effort in her last couple runs and looks a major player in this, lacks early speed though. CAPPY THE FIREY (1) also on the quick backup, won’t be too far away but is a career maiden. WAHINE TOA (7) has upside, did the work last time out and wasn’t beaten too far, small field suits her. Tips: 3 2 7 1 Suggested Bet: I AM SIAM (3) to win. Market Market
