Race 1

THEJEWELINHEREYE (1) has put together some solid runs and has the draw with options over the short course, expecting her to go close in this. FUNKY MUSIC (4) is racing well enough to improve here but she has speed and so does ALTA HURRAH (5) who can be fiery and comes in fresh into this. DEE JAYS BIG BOY (8) will be watching things unfold and is racing well, he is a versatile type in this grade. NEVERTELLMETHEODDS (7) was luckless last run, ready to win but will rely on some luck from the draw. THE RIGHTEOUS (10) just a step or so below his better form and has a tough draw.

Suggested Bet: THEJEWELINHEREYE (1) to win.

Race 2

UP AND ALIVE (3) is now third up into the preparation and caught the eye last time out, has good early speed and looks the likely leader and will give them something to catch, she has raced well against some nice fillies. ROCKY MAGUIRE (10) has strings to his bow and is racing well, looks the big danger in the race. THE KHUKRI (9) is consistent without breaking through, looks a novelty chance again. CAPTURE THE MOMENT (7) is third up into the preparation and has a soft draw, if the gaps come, I think she will be getting home nicely. SEMINOLE JUNIOR (5) capable of better but the draw hurts in this.

Suggested Bet: UP AND ALIVE (3) to win.

Race 3

AMELIA ROCKS (1) was solid in her comeback run and has the perfect draw to work with and further improvement expected, looks likely to sit on one of the main dangers and then rely on her speed late which is good enough to get the win. GOTA GOOD WARHOL (2) has the speed to work to the top and is consistent without winning often. HES THUNDER (5) will be up outside them and doing the work and he’ll be there in the finish. SECOND AMENDMENT (7) drawn to get a beautiful run and if they overdo it, that will bring him into it but looks more of a novelty chance with FOLLOW THE MUSIC (4) and POCKETFUL OF OPALS (10).

Suggested Bet: AMELIA ROCKS (1) each way.

Race 4

Hardest race on the program. WATCH ME WAVE (1) and THE WAND WAVER (4) are similar types and are travelling to this program after racing stronger opposition and racing with merit too, both expected to be on speed but there is a great deal of depth around which will make it challenging. MAJOR FREEWAY (5) likely heads forward and his last two at the track have been good. YA BETTOR FOLLOWME (6) is speedy and likely heads forward as well, he is racing well but needs a few things to go right early, his stablemate MISTER PICCOLO (10) is racing well and think he can overcome the draw and could be some value which could be the way to play in this race. TUBBS FARQUHAR (7) had every chance last time out but will get a soft run. MORE SASS (8) coming out of a metro win and will be running on strongly. Tough old race here.

Suggested Bet: MISTER PICCOLO (10) each way.

Race 5

ECLIPSE LINE (6) has strings to his bow in this grade and looks hard to beat again, will head forward and can do the work, hard to hold out. JUST A PET (3) has the speed to potentially lead and give some cheek, racing soundly. REDDY TO FLY (5) is racing well and ready to run a big race but the draw is tricky. ADDA LOMBO (2) is a novelty chance at odds with BLIND EDITION (7) and SNAKEY BAY (10) who is racing well.

Tips: 6 5 3 2

Suggested Bet: ECLIPSE LINE (6) to win.

Race 6

BUTTER ME UP (9) was strong in his return run and withdraw Patriarch from the race and he should be short and he should win with a leg in the air here. SHES A SWEETMOVER (1) has the nice draw and has the speed to lead early, looks a strong exacta chance. DEFEND THE RIGHT (5) and STRANIERO DEL MARE (6) are both capable types but the draws hurt. MAXMEMATE (7) could improve from the draw.

Tips: 9 1 5 6

Suggested Bet: BUTTER ME UP/SHES A SWEETMOVER to Exacta.

Race 7

SHES MY LITTLE GEM (3) is knocking on the door; this race looks suitable and appears very hard to beat. HEAVENLY BLISS (1) has the draw and options from there; she is a few steps below her best but is still racing competitively. SWANBOURNE SPUNK (2) has a nice draw and will be close to the speed; last run was solid. SANFORD BART (7) can improve by virtue of the draw. SUB MARINER (8) and CRY HAVOC (9) are expected to run and can improve their numerical form.

Suggested Bet: SHES MY LITTLE GEM (3) to win.

Race 8

LOWLANDS BEACH BOY (1) was a nice effort last time out and gets the luxury of barrier 1 over the short course here, expecting a bold performance tonight. WHEEL FAST (6) is a tricky one to catch, think he is going ok but hard to get a gauge on and the draw doesn’t help the chance. TOP SHELF JAMIESON (7) drops in grade on the most recent run, lovely draw and can run well. DEKLA DIVA (4) is capable in this but can really mix her form. ALL ABOUT AMERICA (5) could improve.

Suggested Bet: LOWLANDS BEACH BOY (1) to win.
