Matt Young’s Monday Pinjarra Preview Posted on March 24, 2025March 24, 2025 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 PEACHEE (7) is back to her better form, and this looks to be as suitable a race that she has had this preparation, should go close. MRIYA DREAM (1) can mix his gait and form but has been performing against some of the better trotters and has been decent in those starts. SELLUNE (5) should position up close enough to them and be dangerous late. MISS FRANCENE (8) creates interest and has won her last two, worthy of respect. Tips: 7 1 5 8 Suggested Bet: PEACHEE (7) to win. Race 2 SIDSTREPO (7) has been racing in solid form and was a dominant winner in a lightning lap the last time we saw him victorious. Tends to be able to do more work in this distance and class and looks hard to beat. LUKE ATTACK (2) is second up and can mix his early dash, think he has come up short enough in the market. GOTA GOOD WARHOL (5) is racing soundly and from the draw can get into a good position and be dangerous late. COHLIN (10) and BEALAWYER (6) capable but draws hurt their chances. Tips: 7 5 2 6 Suggested Bet: GOTA GOOD WARHOL (5) each way. Race 3 Open race, gate speed from the inside runners can be questionable and could see the Kym Neal duo charge across and get into good positions. MAJOR DALTON (6) is first up and can run into the money, but he may need the run here. FIREPLAY (7) can lead and at his best he will run a bold race but hasn’t been at the top of his game for a while. TRITTRITTBANGBANG (9) is going well and will be just watching it unfold. THE FREELANCER (8) will be getting home strongly, just needs an element of luck from the draw. RODGER JAMES (1) has had excuses and should be considered a chance from the draw but early speed a concern with him. SONIC SEELSTER (3) and ZUEDE (4) are both capable but need some things to go their way. Tips: 8 9 1 4 Suggested Bet: THE FREELANCER (8) each way. Race 4 MY LITTLE BIG MAN (5) went to the line bolting last time out and this looks a suitable race with his early dash, over the short course he looks very hard to beat. BLOCKJORG (4) is suited to this distance and can do work in these races. BETTERTHAN SECRET (2) has drawn well and can be thereabouts in the finish. RECOVER LOVER (8) and ICY COLD (10) are speedsters but I didn’t think they could get around the Giles Inwood trained MY LITTLE BIG MAN (5) and therefore makes the race infinitely harder for them. MISTER KOPA (1) is a place chance, last run was better. Tips: 5 4 2 8 Suggested Bet: MY LITTLE BIG MAN (5) to win. Race 5 COMO EL VIENTO (2) returns here and looked a smart 2yo for the Four Diamonds Pacing team, comes in with start one of his 3yo preparation and looks the winner on paper on class alone. MINOR CATASTROPHE (1) has the perfect draw, and she has been racing in metro grade, she looks a solid place chance. ROCK ROSIE ROCK (4) will be better suited here, she has been in some hot races as of late. MYDADTHETERROR (8) has a lovely draw and is a must for the novelties. WANDERING GIRL (3) going soundly. Tips: 2 1 4 8 Suggested Bet: MINOR CATASTROPHE (1) to place. Race 6 INFINITE MERIT (2) has shown good ability in the past and comes in first up for trainer Jocelyn Young, looks a perfect race for him on return and is very hard to beat. MIKI WINDERMERE (10) is racing well with back-to-back victories; he can do work in his races and likely to work into a decent position and try and stick on strongly. ROAD STAR (11) has ability, along with a few tricks but should be respected for the in-form stable on return. FLYING FELIX (3) has upside for novelty chances with SWITCH BLADE (4) and VINITA ROSE (6). Tips: 2 10 11 3 Suggested Bet: INFINITE MERIT (2) to win. Race 7 ILLAWONG MUSTANG (10) is on the back up from Friday and comes off the back handicap, he performed just okay on Friday from the perfect position which takes a bit of shine off his chances, he still is the one to beat but wouldn’t want to be diving in too short. FEELING ACES (5) is suited in stand conditions and looks an each way chance. CHILLI PUNTER (6) not at her best and needs a safe getaway, start is so important for her. HEZ SAM (1) is under stand conditions for the first time is a slight concern. WINEGUM (8) has come back well and can be dangerous. JACKIE DANIELS (2), JILL MACH (3), RODASI (4) and AWAITINGINSTRUCTIONS (7) all have chances at bigger odds but should be included in your novelties. Tips: 10 5 8 3 Suggested Bet: FEELING ACES (5) each way. Race 8 THE BEACH MASTER (8) has a lovely draw, was strong two starts ago and last start I am happy to give him a pass mark, looks set to get a decent run and will be dangerous late. MAJOR OVERS (4) is a major player if he can cross but ALWAYSBFRANK (1) might have something to say about that early. MAJOR FREEWAY (5) will get into a decent position and has the depth to make moves when he needs to. OUR VINNIE (6) creates interest first up for the new stable. Tips: 8 4 5 6 Suggested Bet: THE BEACH MASTER (8) each way. Race 9 SHALINI (5) was solid in her return run after a long time away, she did things wrong early and then still finished the race off well, looks to have the depth to break through in this. PAY HOMAGE (1) can be shaky off the inside but last run was solid in the breeze. THE BIG KABOOSH (3) had trialled well at this circuit, so we can see a better performance here second up. BETTOR BE BUCKS (2) next best but lacks top end speed. Tips: 5 1 3 2 Suggested Bet: SHALINI (5) to win. Market Market
