Matt Young’s Monday Pinjarra Preview Posted on November 11, 2024November 11, 2024 | Posted by Matt Young Race 1 SELLUNE (8) has a string of minor placings to his resume as of late and deserves a win, from the draw it should dictate that he gets the last crack at them and over the longer trip he can weave a passage. ALDEBARAN MARSHALL (3) loomed up and broke before really surging through the line last time out, he looks ready to break through and is one of the big dangers. HEZA WHIZARD (6) will be better suited to the longer trip, he has been costly to follow. SUNNYS LITTLE ROSE (4) will run well; she is consistent. ABUNDANCE (9) better suited to the mobile after giving them all a head start last Wednesday. Tips: 8 3 6 4 Suggested Bet: SELLUNE (8) each way. Race 2 EVERYWHERE MAN (1) has been solid in his two runs and has the perfect draw here, if he goes anywhere near he has in his last two runs then he should win this. CHARIVARI (8) has the nice draw on return, he has ability but can be a little bit hit and miss early. CRUNCH THE NUMBERS (2) is improving and has a nice draw, can get into a good position and be a player for the novelties. MICKEY BE SWIFT (6) will be running on. Tips: 1 8 2 6 Suggested Bet: CRUNCH THE NUMBERS (2) to place. Race 3 WELEASE WODDEWICK (10) appears to have found a very suitable race, his trial was decent and this is a suitable class for his comeback. Will be very short. EBEE AVIATOR (5) can use her gate speed here and potentially lead, from there she becomes a top 2 player. SPINNER OF YARNS (6) can improve in this grade, he drops in class and we can see him perform well. THINGS CHANGE (7) is capable of running in to the top 4, as long as he does everything right. Tips: 10 5 6 7 Suggested Bet: EBEE AVIATOR (5) to place. Race 4 RONALD SCOTT (2) was brilliant in defeat last time out, he has plenty of speed in his own right but has a lot of toughness as well so he doesn’t need to lead to win this. SEA FURY (5) gets a front row draw and has good early speed, he was solid in his last effort and looks to be threatening. Early speed could really bring ROCK ROSIE ROCK (7) into the race, she has gate speed in her own right but can be driven for one run in this and will be finishing strongly. DAWSON SHARD (1) has the nice draw and can fill the novelties. Tips: 2 7 5 1 Suggested Bet: RONALD SCOTT (2) to win. Race 5 KABOCHON (5) drops in grade from metro grade to a very suitable race, he also has the draw advantage and can roll in his races, looks hard to beat if he can get back to his better form. SPOIL THE PARTY (3) was solid on Saturday night and is on the quick backup, he has good ability and thought he was going around at a touch of overs. ITS JUSTA SHOTAWAY (1) ideally drawn and has options, expected to go well. BLAZING REACTOR (6) returns from a tough draw. FOLLOW ROCKNROLL (7) is racing well but needs tempo on to bring him into the race, expect him to be flooding home. Tips: 3 5 1 7 Suggested Bet: SPOIL THE PARTY (3) each way. Race 6 A lot of speed off this front line and could set up a solid lead time, I still think this race is going to favour an on-pace runner and I have liked the way BLAZE COOPS (7) has been racing, expecting her to be driven like the best horse and she seems to thrive at Pinjarra. SUGAR SHAKE (9) and TRAVELBAN (10) can both benefit from a quick tempo and be getting home well. VELOCIPEDE (1) has had excuses for his last couple, I think this suits him much better and can’t be underestimated. GULLY GUM (3) returns and is very capable. MAJOR FREEWAY (2), OUR VINNIE (5) and THE WILDCARD (6) aren’t without novelty claims in this. Tips: 7 9 1 3 Suggested Bet: BLAZE COOPS (7) to win. Race 7 MENEMSHA (5) drops down from being the runner up in the WA Derby, he will thrive at the longer trip and looks very hard to beat here. MISS HEPBURN (4) has early speed and can be driven assertively early and this will set up a strong performance from her. JIMMY ROCKS (8) needs a little bit of luck but he has been racing in top tier form. LOCH TAY (10) has returned well and will be finishing off strongly in this, novelty player. SUGAR DELIGHT (6) and ARIONROCK (3) go into the novelties category for this. Tips: 5 4 8 10 Suggested Bet: MISS HEPBURN (4) each way. Race 8 NORTHVIEW DANCE (2) was well driven in victory last time out and strikes a suitable grade again, he continues to elevate and looks very hard to beat here. TRIGWELL ROAD (1) flew away last time out and finished soundly, with his early speed from the tapes he can pick and choose who would like to sit on and becomes a good each way chance. BELLISSIMO ACQUISTO (3) just needs to begin safely but he is a chance if he can settle close enough. BEEN SCOOTIN (4) has to overcome the 10m but his last run was encouraging, he is one to follow after today. CHEDDAR IS BETTER (6) and CHILLIN (8) are both novelty chances from their respective handicaps. Tips: 2 1 3 4 Suggested Bet: TRIGWELL ROAD (1) each way. Market Market
