Race 1

NEVELE ARMA (1) has the good draw and looks strong, still learning what it’s all about but the ability is there and looks very hard to run down from the leading position and that looks most likely where she will be. OUR ROBYN HOOD (5) is a strong filly who will roll forward and most likely be in the breeze, she should stick on well and run a good race. FUNNY AS (10) hit the line well last time out when held up at a vital point, ideal draw for her. SOARINGFORGLORY (2) won well on debut but rises in grade and distance, good test. MADE FOR ME (3) has some early speed and is a novelty chance with POCKET OF DREAMS (6), URSULAS WISH (8) and debutant GAME ON GIRLS (11).

Suggested Bet: NEVELE ARMA (1) to win.

Race 2

RIP TIDE (7) returns and has brilliant early speed and is a big chance to cross in this, may look to take some cover and will be in the A1 position in running, middle distance is the concern for me. RUSSIAN SNIPER (1) I would’ve preferred drawing barrier 2, he will have to be rushed off the arm best he can, if he does it correctly at the start then he should win, he is highly talented and has shown his depth in many recent trials, go close. SPYCHIEF (4) is improving and was a sound third behind Hez The Boss, could get a good run. BEAU PARA (5) still learning but has ability and therefore upside. ELPLAYER (6) has shown something to be considered a top 4 player.

Suggested Bet: RUSSIAN SNIPER (1) to win.

Race 3

CRUNCHYLOVER (2) should be in front and bounce off the trial well, has shown good promise as she steps out for the first time and looks hard to beat. ILIKEITLIKETHAT (3) has been impressive in every run, won well at Northam last time out and must be respected again. ALL OUT OF ACES (11) has good depth and is drawn to be prominent and should be close enough to feature. ARVANNAS WISH (4) is a horse that I am still trying to gauge but looks to have ability, bit of a tricky draw here with key chances drawn underneath. MISS AURA (1) and MODEST MOLLY (10) will get soft runs and EDGE ELEVEN (7) and SAPARI (9) face tough draws.

Suggested Bet: CRUNCHYLOVER (2) to win.

Race 4

IGNITE THE FURNACE (6) is a good horse, his trials leading into a dominant first up win were brilliant and he comes in first up, may need the run but looks very hard to beat here, especially with the draw advantage. IDEAL WHISPER (6) was fantastic in defeat behind Hez The Boss when he did all the work, looks the main danger in the race. ROCKABILLY JOE (2) has drawn down low and should be prominent in the run. ULTIMATE SHOT (5) has a lot of ability but quite clearly is still learning and is take on trust, but his best is up to these. THE BELL HUEY (4) a novelty chance.

Suggested Bet: IGNITE THE FURNACE/IDEAL WHISPER to Quinella.

Race 5

SEASIDE SERENADE (5) was fantastic on return in a recent trial, she should flex her muscles here and push her way to the top and return in winning style, should be winning but will be short. SCANDALEYES (7) is highly talented, and this will be a good test, can see her doing the work and most likely running in a top 2 position. IM CATASTROPHIC (11) was a good effort last time out and is drawn to be close enough and looks a top 3 player with chances to the well-drawn SOME DANCER (1) and BUSH QUEEN (2).

Tips: 5 7 11 2

Suggested Bet: IM CATASTROPHIC (11) to place.

Race 6

HEZ THE BOSS (5) just continues to build, he is a classy type and looks the benchmark for the boys in the 2yo ranks, should be winning again as his depth will eat up the distance and versatility is undeniable. ROCK THE TOUR (2) looks better suited here second up, can work to the top and look for cover and is a good place chance. JETPACK (4) is a nice type and should settle close enough to earn. MAJOR RIDER (1) a novelty chance on debut from the draw with respect to BENOA BAY (8) and SEAYA ROCKNROLL (6) who have shown promise.

Tips: 5 2 4 1

Suggested Bet: HEZ THE BOSS/ROCK THE TOUR to Exacta.

Race 7

BROUGHT TO LIGHT (8) is a talented pacer who comes in fresh from a challenging draw but has strings to his bow and looks hardest to beat in this. WHEN IN VEGAS (6) has the draw advantage and can use his early speed to potentially find his way to the top and elevate on recent performances, looks a good improver in this. HUNGER STRIKE (7) should roll forward and be in the first few, would give them something to catch if she could lead but that looks unlikely. SKYLORD (9) draws wide but suitable grade to see him run on and improve, hasn’t been anywhere near his best. WHOS THE DAD (12) will be running on with CONTROL THE ROOM (11) who lifts in grade on his most recent win.

Tips: 8 6 7 12

Suggested Bet: WHEN IN VEGAS/BROUGHT TO LIGHT to Quinella.

Race 8

Open race. SOUND WAVE (1) has been luckless in recent runs and comes up with the good draw, he’s not brilliant out but is a big chance to muster through and lead and give them something to catch, even if he doesn’t lead, he will be close enough to go well. UNDER THE ALTA (8) was a nice effort on Friday night and will head forward and be there in the finish again. SLIPALONG SAINT (10) had no luck on return but is fitter and drawn to be prominent, respect with even luck. LORD PUBLISHER (3) is a winning chance if he could lead, but that’s a big if. CHARIVARI (5) is becoming a hard horse to catch; he keeps throwing something new into the mix when he races. BEYOND BLING (6), HAVEYOUMETTED (7), RAKLOU (9) and TRIROYALE BRIGADE (12) all chances with the right run but look more likely to be novelty hopes.

Tips: 1 8 10 12

Suggested Bet: SOUND WAVE (1) each way.

Race 9

MY TRUE COLOURS (5) had a solid trial beaten a neck to Insurgency who is a nice filly, she is well bred out of former track record holder at Pinjarra in Famous Alchemist, looks to have plenty of upside and has the draw advantage over her main rivals, respect. TYPHOON TREASURE (7) is highly talented and trialled well, she is an on-speed type and will be in the thick of it. SHOO BOOZY (8) was solid second up and can be put into the race when needed, should go well in this. NOT SO SWEET (9) draws the river but made a heap of ground up after doing things wrong last time out, she needs a few things to go her way. SHOOBEES BOMB (1) has the speed to lead early and sit close enough with novelty chances to an awkwardly drawn TRIXIE DORA (6) and MA PETITE DAME (12).

Tips: 5 8 7 1

Suggested Bet: MY TRUE COLOURS (5) to win.

Race 10

AUTUMN LADY (4) is second up and drawn prominently here, she is highly talented and looks set for a strong campaign, very hard to beat and one to follow going forward. BULL SHARK BETTY (2) will be coming out hard; she has improved this time in and looks the leader early and has options from there. GRACEFUL SHARK (1) will improve noticeably in this being second up and drawn a lot better. CHIEF COPY (10) is a novelty chance from the soft draw with chances to GAMETIME (11), ALFA JESS (5) and DAT LOVELY (9) although it has drawn awfully out in nine.

Tips: 4 2 1 9

Suggested Bet: AUTUMN LADY (4) to win.
