Race 1

XCELERATOR (8) was a solid debut off the back of some nice trials, drawn to get a good run and showed a good turn of foot last time out, looks hard to hold out with clear running. LEO NARRDO (11) has plenty of ability but is still learning, will be running on strongly but a bit more of a tricky map. MIGHTY MILLIE (1) is a likely improver from the draw and could try and lead with early pressure from TEN DEEP (2) who was sound on debut and EXPRESSING (6) who is racing well, likely to be not that far away. ELQUESTRO (3) an outside chance, has shown promise.

Suggested Bet: XCELERATOR (8) to win.

Race 2

BUMRAH (8) couldn’t have been much more impressive on debut with a powerful win at the mile at Pinjarra, challenging draw for his level of experience and looks like he would prefer being out in the open, hard to beat but a little query there. MAJOR MOVES (6) has elevated in recent performances and is starting to work it all out, has good early speed and is a big chance to find the top and give them something to catch, go well. HE IS TALKING (11) is versatile and can be put into it, challenging draw but has come back well. STRONG THE STRIKER (1) is ideally drawn and can feature in the novelties as he should be close enough to the speed with stablemate FEAR THE STORM (4) who is talented and trialled well like MATERNAL DREAMS (5).

Suggested Bet: MAJOR MOVES (6) each way.

Race 3

WICKED WINDERMERE (12) is ready to win, draw is a challenge, but he can be put into the race and looks dangerous, some early speed will really bring him into it late and think he can get a well-deserved win. ALLIZEE (2) trialled well enough for this, ran an amazing mile at this track when winning last time in, has been improving in early speed and that is the main concern here, but she looks to have come back well enough. DISPATCHER (3) will run a good race, back to a mile and can be used early in this, plenty of early speed. CHARLI BROWN (11) is racing well and can come on from the back of the field with chances to CAPTURE THE MOMENT (1), ELLEOFAREACTOR (6) and FUEGO CRUZADO (9).

Suggested Bet: WICKED WINDERMERE (12) each way.

Race 4

DAWSON SHARD (5) drops in grade nicely here and has good early speed, expecting him to bounce to the lead and don’t think they can catch him, very hard to beat. SONIC SEELSTER (3) was better last run and should get the run of the race and looks a decent challenger up the lane. WAHINE TOA (4) was solid two starts ago and is a novelty chance but do prefer slightly at a longer trip but can-do work in races. SUGAR BOO (1) can improve from the soft draw but looks a place chance. ASHBY (8) a novelty chance and NINETY MILE BEACH (12) ready to win but 12 over a mile is never easy.

Suggested Bet: DAWSON SHARD (5) to win.

Race 5

HEAVENLY BLISS (4) will be charging out and looking for the top, good front running type and back to a 1100m dash appears suitable for her, hard to beat. NOBLE THORONDOR (7) is the best horse in the field but won’t get the best run, he was problematic but trialled since then and ran well, respect him in this. GEARSINAWHIRL (3) should lead early and likely takes cover, strong chance to run in the money. NEVERTELLMETHEODDS (6) could improve dropping in distance and being on pace in this. ICANPLAY (9) will be running on, but this looks harder as he follows out a moderate beginner.

Suggested Bet: GEARSINAWHIRL (3) to place.

Race 6

BETTOR WASH UP (3) is a quick beginner who looks to be smart enough to win this even with his lack of experience, trialled up in a slow trial but that wasn’t the takeaway, he had some gear changes and paced a lot better and that gives me confidence that he can do it correctly here and get the win. MAJOR BUZZ (1) was ordinary last time out but comes up with the good draw here, should be prominent and is versatile in this grade. OAKLEY (12) faces a tough draw but is a one paced type and will be put into it at some stage. CLOUD NINE (8) nicely drawn and will rail up nicely and won’t be too far away. Novelty chances to LIL MISS DELIGHT (2) and REDDY TO FLY (10).

Suggested Bet: BETTOR WASH UP (3) to win.

Race 7

ISEEUBABY (6) is a fiery type who is much preferred at a shorter distance, will look to lead but could be vulnerable late in running. MAGIC CAPTAIN (7) creates interest first up in the Four Diamonds Pacing stable, not a huge fan of SA form to back first up in the state but Aiden is no fool so respect the chances of this one. PRIDDAH (1) was solid last time out and nicely drawn, should get a good run but just depends on the tempo of the race. SWIZZLESTICK (10) could benefit from the tempo and way the race will be run and expecting him to get home strongly, likely to be the widest on the run home but is ready to win. SUPREMEDREAM (3) continues to improve and must be respected with AKOKYA PEARL (11) who is capable.

Tips: 10 7 1 6

Suggested Bet: SWIZZLESTICK (10) each way.

Race 8

DRILL SERGEANT (9) was impressive in a recent trial and looks well placed on return to make it a winning return, has a lot of high speed and that’s dynamite in maiden company. KISORA (2) is a likely improver second up but hard to get excited over the first up run. PAPPINBARRA LADY (1) is a consistent performer without breaking through, drawn to be prominent again. THUNDER WARRIOR (3) is capable but faces a tricky draw and looks a novelty chance with PURELY PANDEMIC (8).

Tips: 9 2 1 3

Suggested Bet: DRILL SERGEANT (9) to win.

Race 9

CHARLIES TACTICS (5) was a beaten favourite at the short quote last time out, good effort in defeat but hard to want to dive into the shorts based off that, he was crossed by MRIYA DREAM (6) who once again draws in the same position and can provide headaches for favourite punters, he in his own right is capable. ULTIMATE TESS (8) should bounce off the last run well and can feature again. SELLUNE (9) is improving and is back in form, once he hits form, he usually holds it. SUGA DADDY (3), SKY EAGLE (4) and LOTS OF CHANGE (7) all around the mark.
