Hong Kong International Raceday Posted on December 9, 2016December 12, 2016 | Posted by David Shortte It is International race day at Sha Tin in Hong Kong on Sunday and some of the world’s best horses, Jockeys and Trainers will be battling it out in what is one of the great events on the racing calendar. Australia are well represented from a Jockey perspective with Hugh Bowman, Craig Williams and Damian Lane all busy on the day as are Hong Kong regulars Brett Prebble and Zac Purton. Two of the best Hoops in the world in Ryan Moore and Joao Moreira will add plenty of interest with their mounts. Winterbottom Stakes winner Takedown will be joined by fellow Aussie sprinter Rebel Dane in the Hong Kong Sprint. The Aussie duo will be at each way odds with the local Lucky Bubbles looking the horse to beat with big wraps on the Japanese sprinter Big Arthur. In the Hong Kong Cup star Japanese galloper Maurice look the testing material while in the Vase Highland Reel should take some stopping. TABtouch will have all of the races covered this Sunday – the first race starts at 12.25pm.
