Chris’ Hawkesbury Best Bets Posted on April 28, 2017 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Preview RACE 3 No. 2 Ruthless Agent Kurt Goldman trained galloper who resumes from a break tomorrow. Only lightly raced having won 3 of his 6 starts it’s well worth nothing two of those wins have been when first up whilst the other was second up. Needless to say he races very well when on the fresh side and with Hugh Bowman engaged to take the ride tomorrow another win looks on the cards. SuperPick - Race 3 No. 2 Ruthless Agent - Money Back – Run 2nd RACE 6 No. 2 Artistry Team Snowden trained mare with an imposing overall record having won 8 and placed 5 of her 21 starts to date. She ran down Dothraki first up at Rosehill at Group 3 level before again closing solidly at Randwick in the Group 2 Sapphire last time out over 1200m. Up to 1300m tomorrow looks ideal as she has won up to a mile. With Hugh Bowman to ride off a good gate she looks very hard to beat. RACE 7 No. 5 Calanda Another one from the Snowden yard who looks extremely well placed tomorrow. Only lightly raced she’s won 3 of her 5 starts to date with the latest being first up at Canterbury after racing wide without any cover, she proved too tough to the line doing enough to get home. Bound to have improved further off the run and although facing better opposition tomorrow appears well up to the task.
