Harry Buchanan’s Wednesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on May 1, 2024May 1, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 2 Emmy Nakayama and No. 1 Dozen Staples Both dogs trialling well and while they are limited, so are the rest of these. This fav has only won 1 from 18 with 10 placings which is a concern. Speed in the middle as well. Small EW specs on the inside two, especially Emmy. Race 2 No. 8 Now See Here and No. 2 Heathers Pick The 8 was good last week. Wandered around a little but stuck on strongly late and looks to be well drawn wide. Improves again here. The 2 will get a gun run here at a price. The red goes straight ahead first turn so she just needs to stay close and she can run into this. Dont ignore her. She goes better than it looks. Race 5 No. 1 Fabs Max Potato and No. 4 Gimli With dogs boxed upside down, we look to the upset here. The 1 will get a great run if he can stay with the checks early. Strong and racing better than it looks. The 4 will just need to miss it, and when he does he just flops to the fence. He can rail into this as well and give a showing late in the race. Race 7 No. 7 Whiskey On Rocks and No. 6 Ash The Flash Hoping these inside few come together early and that will give the 6 and 7 a chance to sweep here. The 6 will look to punch up early out wide and while she needs further now, she can still perform. The 7 will play for runs but she’s strong and if she gets them she is very hard to hold out late. Big prices here and either can hit the frame at least with any luck. Race 8 No. 5 Vander Harley Not sure why I’m doing this to myself but last week was too bad to be true. Went around long odds on in a small field and found more trouble than teenager on a Friday night. She can win this at her best and just needs to stay focused and take the right runs. Hard to beat. Must produce in this. THE MEADOWS Race 3 No. 4 Upon Bale and No. 1 Cabao Lapis Race 6 No. 4 Bun Storm Race 10 No. 6 Willow Bale Race 12 No. 4 Learned Lesson Market Market
