Harry Buchanan’s Wednesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on April 3, 2024April 3, 2024 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 2 No. 3 Quick Lands Slow early but he has a motor and is talented when things go his way. This is as winnable a maiden as he’s seen and he just needs to show some early interest and he can figure in the placings here. Race 4 No. 8 Speed Lee Kennel and litter mate to the previous who has a very similar profile and style. She also can take some time to get into her stride but she can reel off a section so a clear run will see her give a sight at odds here. Dont dismiss her completely. Race 5 No. 8 Bagnaia and No. 5 Magic Entry The 8 handled the box well last week to score and while there was trouble inside, there was no doubt it had little impact on the result. Can repeat. The 5 might lead here. Has a little flat spot up the back but she goes better than her form suggests and on the arm would see her run a good race. Race 7 No. 8 Stylish In Black and No. 1 Elsa Baloney The 8 is racing superbly here and the box will be ok. Will show good speed here to dart down the outside to the first turn and will land handy and stick on from there. The 1 will improve on her first look last week and has a good record off the red. She also has some speed and strength through this trip. In a good kennel and can win. Race 8 No. 3 Aussie Trickster Box rise is where she wins her races and inside boxes is when she does it. Will spear out here and look for the arm solo and she’s is very hard to run down when they let her lead uncontested. That will go close to happening here. She’s the one. Race 9 No. 2 Oliver Gundi He doesn’t win many but it’s not exactly a field of winners. All of these lack a knockout blow and just go out there to go through the motions but this guy does put in and against much better company than this lately. Can convert those placings with a little luck. Race 11 No. 7 Aussie Primrose She would be better off inside here but she doesn’t have to lead and has run good races track and trip before. Missing the start would be a blessing here and she does rail home well. Big quote but could stun here on the EW. THE MEADOWS Race 4 No. 1 Bun Tornado Best dog in the race and boxed to win. Runs low 30 which these simply don’t. Only has to hold her spot early and she will take no end of stopping. Race 5 No. 6 Flying Currency Very promising young dog who was huge winning last time. Came form a seemingly impossible position but launched home to score late. Can step better and looks the one here clearly. Race 6 No. 2 Scott Me Been tackling the better dogs and will love the drop in company here. Only has to replicate his last couple here and that’s will make him the one to stop. Top two prospect at the very least. Race 8 No. 8 Peaky Joe Can handle the draw and has a lot of ability. Been racing tough feature heats and will enjoy the midweek class and looks to waltz down and lead but in saying that, he doesn’t have to. If he’s close to the leaders he can run over them late.
